IF all is equal then yeah, throw lots of money at him and most of the time the player will take the extra money. Not saying that is a good idea but in general money talks. That is worst buy in any league possible. You stay away from players that become FA off a Title season. What is Bennett's motivation at this point. He just got his ring after playing with the Bears etc for a long time. Then went to the Pats and played really well like most FA going to the Pats do and get his ring and then just wants a payday and to wind down.
