  1. whats changed? The Patriots are still heads and shoulders above the rest of the shitboxes in AFC East. The margin only got larger. Laughing at people justifying Bills Front Office with 2 FB's and a K as their first needs. It's a passing league. QB/WR/blocking. CB/Pass Rush are the keys to the league. Bills will always be the best at LB's and FB's
  2. I wouldnt touch Bennett at all. You want to take a TE that just came off winning a Super Bowl and pay him? That is worst buy in any league possible. You stay away from players that become FA off a Title season. What is Bennett's motivation at this point. He just got his ring after playing with the Bears etc for a long time. Then went to the Pats and played really well like most FA going to the Pats do and get his ring and then just wants a payday and to wind down.
  3. what is factually incorrect?all you guys spout off without any facts actually. your response is the same. you act like you are above everything in fact you are not. you tell me that you dont have the time to educate me but you have the time to reply with this nonsense of a post. you guys must be the idiot callers on the weiner line and calling on WGR all the time. makes sense now
  4. I dont get how my post gets ridiculed. Yes you can have a difference of opinion but i thought it was a terrible move and i explained why i thought it was terrible. I would love to have a serious convo about it vs the other side if you presented an argument with thoughts back but instead post counts matter and the theory that if 31 other teams didnt do it, must mean something. I thought 100% at least buffalo fans would have learned that intelligent nfl management is few. Lets list....chan gailey, wandstedt, marrone situation...losman, edwards etc....jets bringing in tebow for a circus....aaron maybin...i could go on forever. Its just like chip kellys offense wont work bc no one has done it before...all these genuises would have tried and then after 1 game..omg best offense ever etc...and ends up somewhere in the middle. I believe i said buy back into the 7th round for a chance at 1st rd talent...it doesnt cost much...you still get oleary who wasnt a 7th to begin with. What is the risk? Is the risk worse than incognito from a fan relations standpoint? So if fan relations doesnt matter and cost is very low. What is the risk of going to get him in the 7th round? Seems like him not signing so worst case u lose a 7th rd pick and maybe 50k? Contact issues can easily be dealt with..i use shady as an example bc the bills traded for him without the guarantee of him holding out since we learned he was unhappy at time of trade and he changed tune pretty quick. So collins said he wants to hold out? Ok collons here is a contract for 2 million a yr for next 3 years....collins will grab that pen in a heartbeat and we may get a starting tackle at 2 mill. The cowboys now may have a starting olineman for 1.6 over 3 years which is insane...allows them to spened money elsewhere etc
  5. thats follower mentality. Oh so every team passed on Tom Brady 5 times so mustve meant he sucked. Oh the first round all passed on Desean Jackson, mustve meant something etc. obviously the bills liked him if Rex went down there so be proactive and grab him. you should your ignorance much more with your simple replies. All talk, no evidence, no backing etc. Typical forum poster. I think I remembered why I stopped at 6 posts again now. Thanks for reminding me. Go Bills.
  6. whoops then we shouldn't sign him. Obviously you have never negotiated anything. Collins or his agent are not talking from a position of power when a team drafts them. What is Collins gonna do during his holdout? Work at Walmart? He isn't get an endorsement deal anytime soon and maybe his agent will want to front him some money and is he really going in the first round in 2016? If that was the case, why did he sign for ONLY 1.6 mill over 3 years???? he could just sitout a whole year and get drafted in the 1st round next year and get a better salary. BUT NOPE he decided to sign for a small guaranteed salary. TRY AGAIN. I know intelligence is tough to come by on the internet and especially in forums. maybe why I only have 10 posts....someone needs to be king of the donkeys and you are it.
  7. Its odds. name all the players that sat out a year of football over a contract dispute especially as a 7th round draft pick with no playing experience. Its not conjecture. Its statsically proven that players won't sit out a whole year of football based on contract issues. I did say the rest of the suitors are just as dumb as well. Last line in my post. But publicly known that Rex went down to have a dinner to woo him. Dolphins in the news as well bringing down the former LSU guys.
  8. Let him sit out 1 year. call his bluff. McCoy didnt want to come here and then boom so happy...money talks. He would have been fine and we would have filled a need at an ultra cheap price and cost LMAO, you are joking right? we are post counting now? you count your posts while the rest of the world counts their dollars.
  9. thats my point, that is the contract he signed for so hes happy with that....If the Bills took him in the 7th, he would have signed the same deal...low risk
  10. This is a terrible terrible move by the Bills Management. Obviously they had great interest in Collins and we all know OL is a huge need that we only filled with Incognito. So you can't spend a 7th round pick to get him? or buy into the last 4 picks of the 7th round. Pegula isnt cheap and takes risks, i.e Incognito, so buying the 3rd last pick in the draft to get Collins wasn't thought of? #1 Its poor publicity that your coach runs down to Baton Rouge 3 days after the draft to woo this guy and lose him. So fanbase knows you were interested in a guy that you could have full control of and for cheap 3 days earlier, but choose to get in a free for all with teams that have an advantage over you. i.e locations, coaches familiar with hiim etc. I dont care if Collins said he wouldn't play for a year if drafted after 3rd round. you take the kid with a 7th and give up 50,000 dollars and call his bluff. Also all he got was 3 years for 1.6 million. I'm sure Bills would be ok paying your starting tackle 1.6 over 3 years. we overpaid an average to slightly above avg TE/FB but couldn't risk 50K on a guy that could be our starting tackle at 1.6 for 3 years? It all comes down to risk/reward. The cost curve on this kid was sooo low that you would be an idiot to not spend a 7th on him. considering how many 7th round picks get cut, the cost curve is low. The bills dont care from a fan relations perspective or else they wouldn't sign Incognito if were very tight on that policy etc. Harvin had team issues etc. I understand Collins issues are bigger but again for a 7th round pick cost, its nothing Terrible job by the Bills. It's also a terrible job by every other suitor including Dolphins
  11. I don't think this is a big deal. Pettine was Rex Ryan's defensive co-ordinator only a year removed and he was touted enough to land a head coaching job. The defensive principles are the same. Pettine was literally Rex Ryan's right hand man. So lets not overblow Jim Schwartz here. He inherited a very good defense that had another year to gel that was young and improved with another year. Yes, Jim Schwartz was a part of that improvement but he wasn't the only reason the Bills had a great defense
  12. its where the stress of the organization starts. It's not like the defense is stressing out the club. Seem to be all positive signs. Yes some Jerry Hughes yelling but that got controlled. I think the pressure of this season perhaps not going so well and you just cannot draft a top 5-10 QB next year in a draft that could have Winston, Mariota etc. and so on and with new ownership, the first thing they will see is how the F did we get in this situation and probably heads being cut. I think going into preseason they were very optimistic but optimism seems to have faded by watching Manuel be stagnant over a year's time in practice and preseason and signs show more for a poor showing to start the season and jobs on the line which starts this stuff.
  13. Whomever the frig chose EJ Manuel and decided to double down on him by not having a first round pick next year should be fired. If they all agreed on it, then they should all be fired. fault # 1 borderline skeptical move was drafting him then not giving him competition and treating him like a baby was fault #2 then getting rid of your 2015 first round pick as well as 2014 first round pick to get him a weapon is fault #3.
  14. ray lewis born in florid clay matthews born in california patrick willis born in tennessee ed reed born in lousiana troy polamalu played at USC what this means? STFU you whiny typical bills fan.
