That said, if that's the way that McD wants to build the defense I am ok with it. We keep hearing about being a "passing league", so running with 3 safeties all the time doesn't bother me. I am listening to Mike & Mike now and Kiper just doubled down. They asked him 3 prospects that you'd bet your mortgage will be stars and Mel chose Peppers as one. The Honey Bager had 6 sacks, 4 INTs, 8 FR and 11 forced fumbles as a freshman and sophomore!! That's how he got the nickname because "he takes what he wants." He was as good a college player as I've maybe ever seen.
