Southern Poverty Law Center fires co-founder Morris Dees and SPLC Co-Founder Morris Dees Fired, Outside Audit Ordered </snip> "Effective yesterday, Morris Dees’ employment at the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) was terminated," SPLC President Richard Cohen told The Montgomery Advertiser in a statement on Thursday. If I had to guess, it is probably about the money more than anything (let's get rid of the old guy and spend those donations (and offshore accounts) our way).
