boyst
I stopped reading after the first asshat shared his ridiculous opinion. Si can't even do a round table without pushing an agenda. Maybe later I'll try again

stony
Deitsch does routinely excellent write-ups. Doesn't hurt he's a Bills homer, too.

billsfan714
Very interesting article....wide range of views on multiple topics. A few things that stood out to me was one of teams mentioned for their openness was the Steelers How scoops are fed through some GMs and agents to a few big names in the media. while the local guy was trying to get the scoop. When I hear BN reporters have never been in Whaleys office in their careers, sounds kind of strange to me. Maybe the Bills brass could make more of an effort to have a better relation with local media. Really, it cant be easy and is probably exhausting. writing similar columns on games year after year. On coaches, QBs and draft moves. While the Pegula's certainly are not responsible for Ralphs mismanagement, they should see that this a team with 17 years of no accomplishments and reaching out wouldnt have much downside. SoFFacet
Really terrific discussion and article. Everyone should read this. The premise of the article is good. Do they do this every year? They should. Of course, everyone will come away thinking that certain of the opinions are good or dumb. I quite liked Freeman but was smh at Salguero. Deitsch does roundtables with different writers quite frequently. Various topics, sports etc. Always good reads.
DrDawkinstein
I'm not really interested in their specific opinions, as much as I'm interested in hearing about how other teams function. Hey, whatdya know, other owners and GMs don't talk to the media much either!

ThrowingFitz
The front office doesn't need to improve their relationship with the media. Would you invite a known degenerate that specializes in being two-faced and lying into your home? Seriously, three quarters of the stuff in sports media now days is completely fabricated. Sensationalism be damned, its pure fiction now.
Imran Q
Nice read. The comments on race were intriguing but not surprising. Sometimes it seems the NFL players are operating in two different worlds. Would be a great topic for some deeper writing.
