  1. Thank you for a fantastic season. Mistakes are a learning opportunity to learn. A Lombardi Trophy will be coming to Buffalo in the future.
  2. Last years offense was built around the notion that the defense would be good enough to protect the lead. The offensive playbook wasnt designed to be explosive. It was all about ball control, not throwing for three hundred yards. Given that, Tyrod did what the coaches asked of him and more. The simple fact is, our defense didnt do what it was supposed to do and the offense was ill equiped to respond. That isnt a Tyrod problem, it was coaching. This is why Rex was let go.
  3. Both sides of this argument are valid. We dont want people getting hurt due to irresponsible behavior and current pain killers or anti-inflammatory medications are proven to be inadequate. Why not let our professional athletes decide what serves them best before jumping to conclusions? Personally I can't take any prescription or over the counter anti-inflammatory due to severe allergic reaction. Marijuana is the only viable alternative. Would I go to work ripped... certainly not. Does pot impact my life in a negative way? Absolutely not. The same cannot be said for other medications or alcohol.
  4. The saying hindsight is 20/20 doesn't apply to this board. This team was in win now mode to end the playoff drought the past couple seasons. This is why the cap situation is what it is. The rest is speculation. Trying to figure out what each member of the staff did is pointless. Business decisions are collaborative efforts to make informed decisions and add a layer of protection when poor decisions are made.
  5. If some other team takes him and he plays well, the city of Buffalo will never forgive the front office. He has reasonable talent. Pick him in the 3rd.
  6. I would rather pay a guy that wants be here and puts in maximum effort than a player that is supposedly talented and gives up or gets injured due to technique. Dont forget, teams didn't have to pass due to the horrid run defense. On that note, I seem to remember Gilmore getting destroyed when defending the run. Are you telling me you would take Gilmore over Sherman? You can certainly cherry pick stats and make them comparable. Gilmore is not an elite CB. Plain and simple.
  7. From day one at the draft, Gilmore has never displayed any enthusiasm for being a Bill. I thought the guy was gonna start crying when he found out where he was going. He has talent but doesn't play with any kind of intensity on the field. He basically seems disconnected from the team as he gives up on plays. His tackling has always been sloppy. He injured his shoulder a while back because of sloppy tackling. If he didn't have one good game this year his stats would of been rather average for CB's. Which is exactly what he is.
  8. Its all speculation and no substance. Think about this. What if Taylor plays the final meaningless game of the season and tears his ACL. The spin then becomes incompetent management forced to pay Taylor due to the injury guarantee. As for the breakdown analysis... We were a run first offense. This severely limits what Taylor can do through the air. Now throw in a poor receiving core and theres another variable that should be addressed. How about the offensive line? Stats are deceptive plain and simple.
  9. Speaking from a west coast point of view, Western New York is up and coming once again. Infrastructure, education rate, and potential economic growth is all there. There will be steady growth over the next ten years and the Bills are a cornerstone of the entertainment industry. The Pegula's didn't just buy the team out of sentiment. There is tons of investment potential. Not to mention people generally root for the underdog. The media has done nothing but thrash One Bills Drive. Many people would love for us to displace the dominant force from Boston. I see many great things on the horizon. Thanks Terry and Kim!
  10. The front office doesn't need to improve their relationship with the media. Would you invite a known degenerate that specializes in being two-faced and lying into your home? Seriously, three quarters of the stuff in sports media now days is completely fabricated. Sensationalism be damned, its pure fiction now.
  11. Yes every once in a while you can win out with great defense. However you have to have a great quarterback to create dynasties now. Personally I think the NFL is emphasizing too much on the most difficult position in sports. Passing looks great on highlight reals, but how many cities are watching other teams highlights in January? Is this the parity the NFL touts? Eventually I expect the infusions of elite quarterbacks in the league to be diminished by the impossible standards the NFL and fans expect. Then we should have the same three or four teams winning year after year.
  12. You are missing the point and your post validates what I am saying. The statistics and rankings prove there are some really good things this organization has done over the past couple seasons. You can either embrace and build, or keep looking for faults until that's all you see.
  13. I was young and my mother passed away unexpectedly. Some time after I started watching games with some friends. The Bills were just awesome to watch and the atmosphere was always fun. They were a highlight in an otherwise gray time for me and I have been hooked ever since.
