We only needed a FG there if refs didn't take 3 points from us before half. Would have been tie game Yep the NFL has yet to adopt a way to correct these errors that ruin the course of a game. The clock stopped with 3:14 after the punt. It took us 50 seconds to punt the ball when need to save as much time as we can to get the ball back and score. It at least gets them in FG range and gives them an option to go on 4th. Although I did hate the pitch call two plays earlier and thought it was the first mistake Lynn had made on a night where he's been a f'ing maestro. Yeah I didnt dislike it either.
