A few interesting stats on the Rams:

Offense

30th in points/game (Bills are 17th)

32nd in yards/game

32nd in yards/play

32nd in first downs/game

Defense

Rank 9th in the NFL in points/game allowed (Bills are 6th)

Rank 23rd in yards/game allowed

Here's where it gets very interesting...

Although they rank 10th in the league in yards/play allowed, they also rank dead last in first downs/game allowed. This is most likely due to the fact that they rank 26th in 3rd down conversion rate allowed (44%)

Both teams protect the football well, as Buffalo ranks 2nd in the NFL with a +10 TO differential, and the Rams are tied for 4th with a +4 differential.

So basically, they don't give up the big play often, and they get tough in the red zone, but they can be dinked and dunked to death?

It would be great to have Darius healthy today, but I'm glad Rex is sitting him get it worked out, and we need him or realllyhe Dolphins. If he can play next week great but I want him 100%. We need him in a rhythm for the Patriots the the two games after. Worthy and Bryant are laying really well right now.

It would also be great to have Lawson out there for the Dolphins just in a rotational basis, but Alexander is playing like he's 24 years old.

Lawson will likely play before Dareus.

All of the hot takes on Dareus this morning are, well, completely par for the course on this board.

Maybe this is better. Isn't it just a shame that Dareus was so unlucky to pull a hamstring when reporting in perfect football shape after serving a four-game suspension for only missing a drug test, but then went to rehab, but then did something else we're not quite sure about to deal with his addiction for which he only missed a drug test? The young man is just so unlucky, when will some good luck finally come his way?

Cute little comment at the end there--stick to whatever it is that you do during the day; guessing strangers' lifestyles is CLEARLY not your strength

Quick lesson in how contracts work: you get paid based on performance (past and future expectations). He made two pro bowls and got paid like the premium talent he is.

His suspension this season is a blemish. It's hardly the story of his career as you seem to want to label it.

I think you know that coming back from a long layoff like that and pulling a hamstring does suggest he was not preparing at a high level to return to the active roster.

It really is unacceptable.

In addition to his suspension concerns he is in his mid-20's and he needs to start improving his physical conditioning just to maintain what he's had, let alone improve to his potential so not being properly stretched, hydrated or being fatigued to the point of muscle failure after a couple practices is just mind boggling.

To whom much is given.
