Did I just read that the Ravens "got what they needed whenever they needed it?"

It's gonna be a LONG season in these parts.

Who said that?

I don't want to name names, but I'm sure you can guess. If not, go back to page one. It won't take you 20 years to find the post in question.

I found it. I thought maybe a "NFL Insider" said it...but it was just 20 years.

There's no moral victories in the NFL. If you think the Bills played good defense or even great defense, so what. The Bills still lost the game. The Ravens played better "D" than the Bills. Gave up one td and 160 total yards.

So sick of this logic. Yes, there's no "moral victories" but there are things you can build on, and anyone who can't see that it's more hopeful for the weeks ahead when the defense gave up 13 pts and got 4 sacks then when a team was run all over and blown out and got no pressure on the quarterback just wants to B word and moan.

It was one game. On Thursday, the defense could be awful, but I have a bit more hope for it to be good now. Similarly on Thursday, TT could make adjustments, Sammy plays through the pain, Felton gets better blocks, and the worries about the offense are lessened.

Re: the op... No worries... They are coming now

They're not coming, this is now the de facto bad D thread.

Our heralded secondary seems rather pedestrian.

left alone in man coverage all night will do that to the best of them...no safety help and no changes the whole game. Ridiculous.

Looks like we kept the home team Ravens to one TD and two FG's. Not bad.

So I'd say this was a close one and we lost. That's the way it goes. On to the Jets.

Nothing has to be posted, stats speak for themselves.
