Wonder how you guys would feel if Jack Eichel was hit like that? Probably want the guy kicked out of the league for life. Everyone is out to screw the Sabres!!

I'd feel it wasn't a three game suspension. I'm not even sure how that was a game misconduct.

Sens coach said his finger was "shattered." Out for "weeks!"

Not that it matters, since he was probably going to be suspended for getting blood on Crosby's stick anyway...

That will be wild if they really put an all-forward first team power play on the ice. I don't think I've ever seen that before.

I understand why this team does it, and lord knows their power play has been tops in the league this season, but I hate when forwards play the point on the power play.

I am worried that this makes it harder to get Cal Peterson signed. I will be very sad if he decides to leave college and turn UFA this summer. I still think he is our goalie of the future...

Rochester signed him to a tryout deal. Buffalo did not. This will be Johansson's audition to see whether or not Buffalo brings him aboard.

And Crosby doesn't even get a second look... Why the League has always been a joke and even bigger one now:

Oops, already posted up there... Boy I missed the boat... Still, enjoy some old-time NHL hypocrisy!

why would Peterson sign? And I am not being pissy, just pragmatic. Waits a couple of months, he can tour the country, find out what city/situation/team fits him best.

Money I think will be the same no matter where he goes, unless maybe goalies not getting the max?

Maybe it comes down to a team guaranteeing him NHL next season, with a certain number of starts??? Vegas?

I can't remember a goalie ever be a college UFA...any one else?

BTW, saw this as explanation for all the no calls against Crosby
