C Robert Kugler: Described as a "Lunch-Pail Center". I like him already. Needs NFL weight room but lateral quicks to pull, vital for G-Roman

#Bills sign Purdue OC Rob Kugler, 6-3, 294, 2x team capt, ex-Bills coach Sean's son, 43 consecutive games, played TE, pulls well. Good sign.

I've been tweeting about this signing. He's likely to end up on the PS, but he's a nice addition to the G-Ro Offense. You likely remember the name as Sean Kugler used to coach here, Lockport native now head coach of UTEP.

How many will make the team?

If more than one, maybe two make the roster it's considered a surprise. I routinely get a kick out of the hype, however. The legend of Da'Rick Rogers, for example.

Striker is the guy I'm most intrigued by. Athletic guy who goes full effort 100% of the time and was very productive at a major college. Only knock is his size. Could be a demon on ST and a situational pass rusher, and they could try converting him to safety.

I'm guessing maybe two. Striker probably has a role as a STer and coverage LB/box safety hybrid. That DL has some freakish workout numbers, but dspending how raw he is, might be a better PS candidate. Baby Gronk would have to do a TON to unseat Felton

UB QB Joe Licata's best traits are football IQ and composure under duress. Impressed #Bills enough to sign him UDFA.

Here's the best article I found on Joe: http://www.ubbullrun.com/2016/4/30/11528420/nfl-draft-2016-joe-licata-signed-to-a-tryout-with-the-buffalo-bills

My understanding is that he has a camp tryout vs. being signed as a UDFA.

I'll tell you what stood out to me about Licata, his willingness to stand in the pocket when all hell is breaking around him. UB never had a great O-line and protection would break down constantly. But Joe was cool as sh!t in that pocket and sometimes made some great throws. May not have an NFL arm but he's ice in the pocket.

Striker and Zimmer will make this roster.

Striker has pass rush skills and is a plus athlete; he can also play special teams.

Zimmer is a MONSTER. Built low to the ground, country-strong, and good lateral quickness. Not sure why he went undrafted.

From what I can gather it was basically that he didn't play against a strong opponent so couldn't really be evaluated fairly.
