  1. 1. Which QB do want the Bills to draft?

    • Connor Cook, MSU (Projected Round 1-2)
      17
    • Cardale Jones, OSU (Projected Round 3-4)
      54
    • Dak Prescott, Miss State (Projected Round 4-5)
      23
    • Brandon Doughty, WKU (Projected Round 5-6)
      4
    • Kevin Hogan, Stanford (Projected Round 6)
      23
    • Brandon Allen, Arkansas (Projected Round 6-7)
      1
    • Nate Sudfeld, IU (Projected Round 7)
      0
    • Vernon Adams, Jr., Oregon (Projected Round 7)
      2
    • Jake Coker, Alabama (Projected Round 7)
      1
    • Jeff Driskell, La Tech (Projected Round 7)
      1
    • Would prefer they don't use a draft pick and wait to sign a UDFA (i.e. Jake Rudock, UM, Marquise Williams, UNC)
      3
    • Prefer they don't add a rookie QB at all

I have to say that I am not at all surprised that round 3 is complete without Connor Cook or Cardale Jones having been selected. Cook lacks accuracy and has at least questionable leadership skills and Jones has started only 10 games on an uber-talented team.

I've said all along I prefer Jones to any of these third tier guys mainly because the chances of getting one that really succeeds at this point is such a longshot, you might as well take the kid with the best upside...Jones floor may very well be out of the league in two years...But his ceiling is at least as high as Paxton Lynch...Maybe higher considering even in only 10 games he's done more things that an NFL QB is asked to do than Lynch has total...And it's not like OSU runs an NFL offense either... B-)

#1 overall pick probably

Besides Andrew Luck, how many qbs have kept that status two years in a row? Based on recent history, I see him mid first round at best, Chad Kelly higher, and someone we aren't even talking about first overall

I'll go on record and say at worst Connor Cook will be a good backup QB in this league. At best he could be a poor man's Carson Palmer. If you are worried about his leadership then send him to some corporate leadership training or something! If you are worried about accuracy then keep in mind that a) he was throwing down field more than the typical spread dump it off quick type college QB's you usually see these days and b) it's because of his sloppy footwork, which can be fixed.

I think he would be a steal for us but I think he will go early in this round to probably Cleveland

Hmm thats interesting didnt realize that. Dallas, KC, NO, AZ...who else needs a QB? Man if we got Connor Cook in the 4th that would be a steal. Hes arguably the most NFL ready of any QB and can step right in as the backup. I wonder what his mindset is like. Is he the kind of guy that will get fired up about being overlooked and try and prove everyone wrong like Brady or will he be a baby and pout like Cutler? If we brought him in for a visit I'm sure they did their homework on him and will know the answer to that question

I'd like to know why he wasn't a captain at MSU and why reports are coming out that he was so disliked. Combine that with some really "meh" performances that I saw, and I say stay away.

I think that's been overblown. Check Twitter. Tons of current and former teammates going nuts about him not being picked yet saying he's a great leader and a winner. Seems to be well liked from those comments. If they didn't like him they would say he's getting what he deserves or they wouldn't say anything at all.
