That’s why it’s a mistake. An unacceptable one, but errors do occur. Did you watch the video and listen to the audio? It’s pretty clear what happened. Do you think she’s lying about what happened?

What incident are both sides outraged about?

She could be. That was my first impression. Not going to simply take her at her word, but see that it is investigated.

If that is what happened there needs to be some better way to make sure they absolutly know which weapon they are using.

So you mean she must receive due process?

Let’s not forget the individual decided to resist arrest while he was being cuffed. His actions led to her taking action. Did you watch the video with audio. Seems pretty clear her intent was to tase the suspect. Of course she should not continue as a Police officer and will probably be liable in a civil sense, but I don’t think she should be charged criminally.

If they go by previous incidents, the cop is probably looking at involuntary manslaughter charges at minimum.  Here's one comparable one.

WHAT ARE SOME OTHER CASES?

In one of most well-known cases, a transit officer responding to a fight at a train station in Oakland, California, killed 22-year-old Oscar Grant in 2009. The officer, Johannes Mehserle, testified at trial that, fearing Grant had a weapon, he reached for his stun gun but mistakenly pulled his .40-caliber handgun instead. Grant was shot as he lay face down. Mehserle was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to two years in prison. His department paid $2.8 million to Grant’s daughter and her mother.

Huh...it's like Rashida, Tibs and Billstime are the same person.

No more incarceration.  So let the Capitol insurrections go she is saying?  Let all the rapists and murders run free?  No police she says?  Its easy to shoot your mouth off like that when you're hiding behind thousands of armed National Guard soldiers in the Capitol surrounded by a fence with sharpshooters and personal security details.  But when you have to directly deal with this crap its a different perspective.

What people like this mentally ill hose bag don't say is Dwight Wright was the subject of a traffic stop by police, had an outstanding warrant, refused to comply with requests from police, and continued to ignore the instructions from the cops, went back to his car for some reason unknown to them, and tried to drive away.  Shooting victim?  Yes.  Innocent shooting victim?  No.   He did everything wrong here and no more excuses for stupidity.  Anybody with half a brain and no street attitude would have walked away alive from that.  Reality.

I’d be willing to consider un-policed zones as long as those calling for un-policed zones commit to live and work there and only there.

What if the government was to cede the state of say, Minnesota as the exclusive such zone? Anyone who identifies as “ un-policed” can live there and only there. Kind of a huge experiment in “ social justice”. The rest of us can then get on with our lives.

Could be. I mean, it was in California so certainly could happen in a place like Minny.

At least the violent ones. You never see incidental tax evasion arrest shootings.

Well at least not since the Al Capone days.  ;)

I need someone to explain to me the defense of the black dude besides you are a racist? The black dude was harassing a girl and then hanging around her house after her neighbors intervened. The back dude was not physically assaulted despite taking steps towards the man's wife. He had no reason to be there except to annoy the residents. If this was my son I would be embarrassed not trying to turn him into a victim.

That puts a whole new paint job on things. I was led to believe the guy was just walking down the sidewalk and was accosted by a white guy.

Minneapolis City Council votes on what police response to rioting is not allowed, and ‘what could possibly go wrong?’

With a verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial expected possibly in the coming days, cities around the country are making preparations:

One of those cities is of course Minneapolis, except if the City Council there gets its way, any violence won’t be able to be handled too easily:

So they deny options to use non lethal. This may lead to actual lethal encounters...or is this what is really desired?

Summer of Love: year 2.

They tried removing police in CHAZ... but that only lasted a few hours; the rioters created their own security force; which allowed theft, rape, and murder, but kept the white people from invading the black-only spaces.

B-Man posting dishonest Tweets by known liars Jack Posobiec and Andy Ngo (two guys who would call a bee "antifa" if it landed on their mac salad) , without any context, elaboration, or verification of accuracy: A tradition unlike any other.

Nope.

I mentioned last week, we are not going with that "oh your sources are bad sh*t" anymore.

The video is there, the story of Antifa setting the fire is on multiple mainstream media sites  (which you should have checked first if you were smart)

You can keep your childish opinions of people who post stories that you can't admit to, it won't fly anymore.

Here..............this is satire...................or is it ?
