Gugny
I thought, just by watching baseball and football on television, that I'd seen all of the idiotic alternate spellings of perfectly good names. At work today, I think I heard the best one (by best, I mean most stupid) ever: Myqule ... it's a female's name. !@#$ing Myqule Pronounced ..... Michael. Chef Jim
It's funny. Whenever my wife and I make fun of spelling of ethnic names we always throw in at least one q. "It's Shaniqua. S-Q-H-A-Q-N-I-Q-U-A!" Or an apostrophe or two. What perfect timing. I just got an email from a Karryn. I assume pronounced Karen.

eball
Almost as curious are the folks with "normally" spelled names who insist on odd pronunciations. My wife worked with a woman named Deborah. Da-BOR-ah is how she insisted it should be pronounced.
