It is a spillway between two lakes. If you really want to get technical, the way man has intervened, it acts like the emergency spillway over a dam, like Hoover Dam, etc... It is pretty crazy down south of me... Yet, seeing how just a week ago, it was so low. That will all compound the Lower MS situation... Or @ very least prolong the dry out.
