I'd swap lines 3 & 4

Technically Bylsma doesn't number lines (at least that's what he said in a previous interview), so there is no telling which of the bottom 2 lines will get more time. But I would have to think the third listed will get the least amount, should they stay in tact...

Fewer goals against, I hope.

This guy will be big in determining whether that happens:

Robin Lehner knows he's a big question/Eichel on his debut/tonight's #Sabres lineup &more http://www.buffalohockeybeat.com/sabres-goalie-robin-lehner-knows-hes-a-question-mark/

@BillHoppeNHL

Before his NHL debut, Jack Eichel has won over teammates w/a humble, team-first attitude. Story: http://www.buffalohockeybeat.com/jack-eichel-just-one-big-piece-for-sabres/

This kid's maturity is beyond his years. I can't believe how media savvy he is at 18. He was being prodded by a reporter about how McDavid will also be making his debut tonight and, without skipping a beat, said there are a bunch of other guys playing their first games as well tonight. His ability to deflect attention and focus it elsewhere is ingratiating to say the least. I get the sense his teammates already love the guy. I think he has a lot of ballbuster in him; just what a lockerroom needs.

I can't remember the last time I was this jazzed for a Buffalo pro athlete's debut. Kelly's first game against the Jets come closest.

GO SABRES!!!

Can they make the playoffs this season????

I don't know if they will or not, but I think it's a reasonable thing to route for. I mean, how disappointing can it be if they don't make it? It's been so long since we've had meaningful hockey. This team is very young, but most of the young guys have a ton of experience in the league already. I am totally on board.

GO SABRES!!!

Can they make the playoffs this season????

Sure. All they have to do is become as good as the middle of the NHL. The pros: the talent on offense. The cons: the huge question in net. One thing for sure, they will be trying to win every game now.

10-8: BUFFALO SABRES' GM TIM MURRAY ON WGR (22:23)

Expectations? Murray: "I'm not sure. For me it's a little bit wait and see. We've certainly improved on paper....Do we have any chemistry?"

Murray on if he's surprised by Eichel: "How quickly he played well in preseason right off the bat. No feeling his way around."

Murray on Eichel: "He's acted like a pro, carried himself as a pro...I see confidence and a lot of preparedness."

Murray: "Everybody asks me if I'm excited, I say no, but the fans should be excited." Says it's his job to sit through a 2014-15 season.

Murray on acquiring O'Reilly: goals are to stay young and improve. Better scenario than Eichel carrying the load.

Murray on Lehner: "He's missed a lot of hockey, he's never been a 1...we traded for potential knowing there may be some tough times."

Murray on Bylsma: "We have different personalities. I feel like we have the right coach. When I watch practice...guys are upbeat."

Sens fan here that was happy for you guys that you got a great prospect like Eichel. That said, he definitely looks like he has wide eyes this game. It's a little surprising because I didn't think he'd be phased.
