The Bills traded away Kiko Alonso last summer, and their defense had a disappointing season compared to being one of the league's best units in 2014. Here's an upgrade with a prospect who could easily go a lot higher.

Jack notched 15 tackles, one interception and a pass broken up in his shortened 2015 season. He also had two carries for seven yards and a touchdown on offense. The junior suffered a knee injury in practice that ended his year early. He withdrew from UCLA early to prepare for the 2016 NFL Draft.

As a sophomore, Jack racked up 87 tackles with eight tackles for a loss, seven passes broken up, one interception and one forced fumble. While only a freshman starter in 2013, Jack became a superstar who was named the Pac-12's Offensive AND Defensive Freshman of the Year. On the defensive side of the ball, he recorded 75 tackles with 11 passes broken up and two interceptions. His pass-coverage skills for a freshman were outstanding. Jack ran for 267 yards on 38 carries (7.0 average) with seven touchdowns, too.

Jack's natural pass-coverage skills are extremely impressive. NFL evaluators are going to love what he can do in the passing game. Don't be surprised if the 6-foot-1, 230-pounder improves annually with his huge upside.

I think that he is going to be a monster at the next level. He is a total physical freak (even with the injury). With that being said, I almost certainly think that he goes before the Bills pick.

Definitely won't be mad at this pick but what a lazy Kiko correlation. If we kept Kiko, the defense would have been even worse.

It pisses me off that LB became a need when both Brown and Bradham looked like young star players. But it's all Mario's fault. :)

FWIW as a Buckeye fan and someone that has seen a TON of Zeke I agree. There is very little risk with him. He is a complete back. Obviously,RB isn't a need but he'll be a really good pro.

He is a great RB prospect..........but as we all know there is a very good chance that some RB MUCH later in the draft that will be as good or better in the system they are plugged into.

That is not the case with so many other positions........which along with "impact-in-todays-game" is what drives the salaries at those positions.........which subsequently makes it more important to fill THOSE positions with blue chip talent in the early rounds.

That is the thing about the RB position and one of the reasons that using nearly 1/4 of their first picks in the draft over their first 50 years yielded so many bad Bills teams.......and much of that time the quality of your RB was actually MORE important.

The fact that a talent like Zeke could go late in round 1......or possibly not until round 2 says it all.

If he were a corner or DE with a similar grade he'd almost certainly be the first non-QB taken.

The prospective NFL talent playing for Alabama and Clemson is so rich, one could nearly make an all-star team. So, that's exactly what we did, taking a position-by-position look and ranking the best NFL prospects playing in Monday night's College Football Playoff National Championship.

"Wilson has very good hands and has a ferocious grip on the ball. He does body catch when appropriate to secure his target but he’s a natural hands catcher with a flair for the remarkable. On the second of these catches, his body control to adjust to the football is nothing short of phenomenal."
