Chandemonium Posted December 14, 2014 Share Posted December 14, 2014 Â Â I think you are only allowed to block 1 yard from the LOS until the ball is thrown or caught, and Sammy already had his guy blocked down the field for 5 yards when Woods caught the ball. Â If that's the rule it doesn't make sense, because corners are allowed to jam within 5 yards of the LOS. The zone of allowed contact should be the same for both teams to eliminate any judgement on the part of the official on who is initiating contact or what the intent is IMO.
