Walmart guy (Harley) didn't make it. Bummer. Could have been a nice story for him and his family.

What a joke this team is!! I cannot believe that they cut Derek Brim. Now, it's just more dead money on the cap!! This is the front office admitting failure. What a disgrace.

I'm so done with this team. This is exactly like in 1932 when Dingus McDermott was cut from the Ithaca Spitoons and he went on to star for three years in the Canadian semi pro league. They cannot recognize latent and dormant talent.

If you were a real Spitoons fan, you would know that McDermott was cut in '33.

I suppose one or two of these guys (Macky Mac, perhaps) makes the PS. Cut down day is always sad news for someone,. The typically, at this stage anyway, it should come as no surprise.

With regard to Hopkins, since he was a KO specialist, shouldn't he have kicked off much better than Carpenter?

Carpenter had a great year last year, there is no denying that, but I have a feeling Hopkins will have a productive career. Carpenter will be done in 2-3 years, if not this year. Last year may have been a fluke as he was cut from 14 teams last Summer.
