This is exactly like in 1932 when Dingus McDermott was cut from the Ithaca Spitoons and he went on to star for three years in the Canadian semi pro league. Cut down day is always sad news for someone,. The typically, at this stage anyway, it should come as no surprise. Carpenter will be done in 2-3 years, if not this year. Last year may have been a fluke as he was cut from 14 teams last Summer.
