What is better, no guns, or more guns?

Recommended Posts

Well this is mostly due to Americans being a very high majority of really suck a$$ drivers, but I get your point.

Have you factored in the miles per capita we drive in the states vs people per mile. It is a really wide open country and people tend to get a little testy when they have to encounter (let alone share something) another driver on the road.

More police officers die on the job in states with more guns

...................and so it starts.

they really just cannot face the multiple complex problems that have led up to this, this is all they can do.

.

Yes, there are many complex issues at play here. Can we admit that guns are one of these issues?

No, Really? It doesn't take a Dragnet episode from 1966 to figure this out? Who would have thunk?

Good piece on NPR (I know, cringe all you Cons). I have been saying all along, cops need to move from warrior mode to guardian mode.

They don't care. They are not interested in being objective, just pushing an agenda.

We will just ignore that gun violence is at least at a 5 year low. probably longer.

If they can't go after total gun violence, they will go after the subsections of it that rise and fall from year to year.

"And mass shootings are up as well. According to Mother Jones’ mass shooting database, year to date, 58 people have been killed this way, nearly five times more than the same time period last year. It’s worth noting though, that Orlando is the sole driver of this effect. Had it not occurred, the number of fatalities would have gone down between the two years."

Do you think it's worth noting? Really? :censored::censored::censored:

Why do people need high capacity vehicles with an automatic transmission?

The New York Assembly is already drafting legislation to limit gas tanks on commercial vehicles to 8 gallons, and defining "assault truck" as any truck having one of the following features:

- Power steering

- Exhaust shrouds

- A tow hitch

- Three-point seat belts

- Fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror.

- A pistol grip conspicuously protruding from the steering column.

In all seriousness looks like the front bumper was modified with some kind of a scoop to maximize the carnage.

Or the front end got beat to **** hitting all those people. An unmodified truck would do more than enough damage, and be less hassle.

Seriously...photo analysis is hard. I've tried it with WWII recon photos and footage (a subject I have a certain expertise in), and even when you know what you're looking at it's still damned difficult to see things you know are there. Never assume that anything you're seeing in a picture is really what it looks like.
