While the notion of stealing seafood is funny and all, Winston's pattern of getting away with doing stupid and illegal things is quite upsetting. He and teammates did $4000 damages to windows on campus residences having a b.b. gun fight. No charges laid. He was accused of rape. And after a brief and botched investigation, no charges were laid. Now this. I wouldn't draft this guy--I would stay away. He is the next Clarrett or Phillips.

Here is the problem with collegiate athletics. Regarding to the rape allegations:

I believe that Mr. Winston cannot be convicted. I don’t necessarily believe that he’s innocent.”

The NY Time article is really alarming. A lighter article, yet still concerning, was written yesterday. And from what I know I agree that he is being coddled and enabled at FSU. He was suspended from baseball? Big deal. IMO, FSU is not doing him any favors by enabling him. These people don't care about him. They care about winning football games, Heismans, and NCs. They are saying that he will "probably" need to repay the $32? Come on. He isn't 7 years old. He has put himself in a situation where he has zero margin of error off the field for an entire year until next year's draft.

Jameis Winston shoplifted crab legs. And although it's funny, there are bigger concerns here. http://on.si.com/1hUODmP

Others will hold Jameis Winston accountable if FSU won't http://usat.ly/1kuO6Z0 via @usatoday Classic entitlement...and usual poor response!

They are hundreds of cases a year where prosecutors can't convict someone who is thought to be guilty. Sadly, thinking you're not innocent and putting you in jail isn't how the legal system works, huh?

Before making any rash judgements, please read FSU's response to the Times article. The Times article contained deception, falsehoods, deliberate omission of important facts, and flat out lies.

Just arrived. Was reading at work on breaks and having a quite a time.

Congrats TBDers !

Coulda at least gone for the gusto and went for the lobsters...lol...gotta go big or go home Jameis

Hiding lobsters in your pants can be dangerous.

At least thats what i read.

Crab claws are a misdemeanor at worst. Moving a lobster across borders can be felonius .

Leave that to the professionals Mr Winston .
