Not sure what game you were watching if you thought the OL was fine. They were horrific. Guard play was flat out awful today. No running lanes to speak of, and the pressure got to EJ in a hurry. EJ played bad today, no doubt about it. But to say the OL played fine is a complete lie. They were just as bad as EJ was.

Not when the mod is just as big of a troll. Chandler wallows in EJ's failure like a pig in crap. He's the quintessential, "rather be right than have the Bills win" poster.

Hopefully that arrogant piece of trash we call the commish is shown the door. I've watched a fair amount of Clemson ball, and Tajh "Dough" Boyd is nothing more than a fatter less accurate EJ.

I believe that rule was changed a few years ago and you have to cross the pylon or inside of it. The goalline no longer exists outside of the pylons.

Good post. Too many on here cry out how they knew this player that we didnt draft would be great and knew this play we did draft would suck. But i find it funny that there types, like large segment of posters who want wanted Stephen Hill a few years ago, are extremely quiet when Hill gets cut. Too many fling poo and then don't own it when they're wrong. In their mind they're never wrong but the Bills FO always is. Another great post. Marrone has done a piss poor job of developing talent, and many have regressed, like you stated. How does Urbik go from a decent starter to someone who is barely hanging on? He's never been great, but he was decent until Marrone got here.

Watching Boyd in college, he's essentially a worse version of EJ. Tajh cannot throw on the move to save his life.

Given the way RBs aren't getting good contracts, a shorter term with maybe a tad more $ may be the way to go if they are interested in extending him. His rookie deal paid him about 5-6 mil per season. Anyone opposed to 3 years and 15-16 mil?

You're dead on. EJ is nowhere near stupid. He's a very smart individual. (here's where holcombs arm links to the tomahawk nation article trashing EJ, and again completely ignoring the fact that Tomahawk nation hated EJ and had it out for him his entire time in Tallahassee) His biggest issues in college were his inconsistency, and his penchant to be inaccurate on some throws, which, watching him, looked like it was largely attributable to footwork issues. What you will find about EJ when you do some looking, is that he was a great leader down here. Took ultimate responsibility for and mistakes, even when they were clearly another players fault. He was highly respected and known for his intelligence. And he has all the physical talent in the world. People forget that he was a project and stil considered raw. And sorry, being drafted in the 1st round doesn't make you less raw or mean he'll develop faster. This preseason he did not look good. The best way i can explain it is that he isnt playing like he played here in college. The dumpoffs and robotic type play are not who he was down here. It sure seems like hes thinking too much and not simply playing. As for the people that hated him down here? They hated him because he was a highly touted 5 star recruit but he didnt win a national title. Some people down here had ridiculously standards for him and held it against him when they didn't reach the mountaintop. Not to mention the team overall was less talented when EJ was under center.

I'm in the same situation you are. I got the ticket free last year, plus $35 off per month for 15 months. My contract runs out this month, but the credits are still good for 2-3 more. Given this situation, customer retention said the best they could offer was $15 off the ticket price per month, putting total cost at $150. So i simply asked if they could upgrade me to ST max for that price and he said sure, no problem. So i ended up with the ST max for $150. I've gotten the ticket free whenever i'm not under contract. So next year i'll get it free. And in a few months when my credits run out, ill call back and get them back.

You're conveniently ignoring that other media types, like Sal Capaccio and Brian Galliford from Buffalo Rumblings have had much different and much more balanced takes on EJ in practice. They've both been good at providing quality reports and highlighting both the good and bad that they've seen from EJ. The "big" media types from the snooze and D&C seem to be going out of their way to trash EJ, highlight the negatives, and ignore the positives. But then again, thats right up your alley, isnt it?

Years ago, there was a 20+ page thread on a young QB that "looked the part" and was deemed to have "it." That QB was Matt Leinart.

Kelly the Dog nailed it. Dalton is a "nice" QB, but isn't the QB that's ever going to take you anywhere significant. He's the worst kind of QB to have. Good enough to keep around on your roster that you dont want to cut him, but not good enough to ever win it all. At least the Bengals did the contract right going year to year.

As a casual soccer observer, and someone who found they really liked the FA and Euro Cup finals last month, i found the opening game of the cup absolutely horrific, both the flopping and the reffing. Pathetic childish display by a bunch of small dicked brazilians. Games like that are why a large portion of americans simply cannot stand soccer. I was looking forward to the world cup, but watching that as the opening game for the tournament sucked a lot of life out of me. I'll watch 'Murica but i'm already having a tough time tuning into that crap.

The reported $250 per ticket for that part of the stadium (pool and cabana access) should keep the majority of the duval county riff-raff out.

Something does need to be done about the actual racing, because the 1.5 milers turn into a damn conveyor belt race. Nothings worse that a race like the all-star, where there are 2-3 care better than everyone else and they just get way ahead and there's no passing. That and seeing 13/43 cars on the lead lap is worthless. I have 2 kind of "radical" changes that might be cool. The first is regarding points. After the top 15 or 20, make tiers where everyone gets the same number. So 35-43 all get X number of points. 30-34 get a few more, etc. This prevents busted ass cars from coming out and simply turning laps. And frankly, 31st sucks as does 41st, so why should 31 get 10 more points? Both had horrible races. The second is way out of the box, but i think it'd be cool if that NASCAR tried out an elimination system on track during an individual race. Start the race, and at the 1/4 mark, the race is yellow flagged, and only the top 30 cars advance. After another 1/4, only the top 25 advance, and after 3/4, you're down to 15-20 cars left racing for victory. It would add some spice to the middle of the race.

I've joked with some friends about this before, but the idea seems less and less ridiculous every day. If you wanted to move a team to LA, to hell with building a normal stadium and trying to attract a "fan base" to the local team. .Build a stadium in LA composed of nothing but luxury suites, and make it an event for all of the stars/celebs/businesses out there. You'd make a killing.

Got a question for the soccer guys...I've watched a chunk of the FA cup final, the Euro Cup final, and then the tune-up game against azerbijan. Why do the styles of play between the Eruo squads and the 'Muricans look so different? Different philosophy, different coaching, difference in talent? The Euro squads had a "slower" paced game with lots of controlled passes, while the Americans ran around with their hair on fire.

What you omit is that Freeman regressed in year 3, which was still under Raheem Morris. Freeman had 4+ seasons of starting in the league and was good for exactly 1 of them. Year 2 was the anomaly for him. He wasnt good in year under Morris, and was bad under Schiano.

Maybe he can break Naaman Roosevelt's patriots receiving record.
