I have no idea what his health is following the knee injury years ago, but this is a guy I have wanted the Bills to look at for awhile. This came from a tweet by Paul Shrager. I also assume he and his agent will watch the games tomorrow, see if there are any major injuries to QBs that may change the landscape, and then decide tomorrow night. It's possible that Whaley did his due diligence on him when he was coming out and wasn't thrilled even then. It's also possible that Freeman is looking for a more attractive spot where he has a better chance to start long term. Most likely, we'll never know the truth. I think he threw a bad pick in OT, but otherwise had a solid game. I used to love him at Oregon.
