Penthouse files for bankruptcy

I'm surprised that any of these adult mags are still in business, given the Internet. I remember the old days when a boy's holy grail was finding an old Playboy that a neighbor threw out with the stack of newspapers.

So true.

Its sad that a whole generation of adolescents will never know that feeling

My first thought. Who pays for porn? At the same time, there was a simple pleasure in watching Cinemax and seeing N and SSC before the movie.

Yeah instead they have instant access to millions of pages of porn on the Internet. I feel for parents today as there can be very little control over this at the end of the day. Too many devices with too much easy access to think you can shield your kids from it. I guess it puts more emphasis on teaching basic values.

We've put a DNS blocker on our router, and I don't think he's figured out to disconnect from the network for porn activities on his phone.

PS 11,111 posts!

I get this but think of the friends parents who are not savvy enough to do the same or maybe just don't care. At the end of the day I don't think kids are seeing anything different than what we did as somebody inevitably had access to magazines or whatever. The primary difference is the ease at which they can get to it and maybe the fact that there is some twisted stuff out there.

Btw - if he hasn't already Ill put my money on your kid figuring out a work around. This is one of the best things about being young. You figure out technology. You maybe break a few things along the way but you figure it out.
