Tom Brady Injured?

ESPN is reporting that Tom Brady just left the joint practice today with the Bucs with a knee injury. It's the same leg he injured in '08. Not sure how serious it is yet but this could be big news. Stay tuned...

I'm finding myself torn on this news....

On one hand anything that will help the Pats* lose is a wonderful thing.

However the other part of me wants to see the Bills facing the real New England* come September to see how we match up.

Yeah, no. Starting the season with a division win is all I care about. I don't care if it's against the WBUR staff.

I want to see Brady moping on the sidelines as the Bills run up the score. I'm skeptical that it would be bad enough to have him miss week one...but I'll be keeping an eye out.

Yeah, I would be shocked if he was out week one. He has four and a half weeks to recovery from whatever it might be.

It just happened, breaking news on TV. I doubt it's published anywhere yet besides twitter

and with the joint practice and with revis in attendance, and it being local to ESPN theyve had cameras covering everything up there. not surprised its on TV near instantly for this story.

From everything I hear its nothing major. Maybe a tweak or something, they took him out of practice as a precautionary measure.

I'm sure he'll be back to his usual smug, healthy self come Week 1 against us.

He went back onto the field and threw thee passes before limping back over the sideline.

Did Wilfork throw an elbow at it while falling down?

So I guess winning isn't important to you. Damn man. I see your point but aren't you tired of not making the playoffs?

What bigger boost would it be for EJ to start 1-0 in his career? (I'm assuming EJ wins the starting job of course)

I hope it's not a serious injury but I DO hope it keeps him from playing against us...

I think Brady has become a giant d bag over the years, but cheering for injuries is low class. Obviously, I want the Bills to win but I'll never cheer for someone to get hurt. Very bad karma & Bills fans are better than that. That's Philly territory.

Nobody here is rooting for Brady to get injured.

Acknowledging how your team might benefit from a first-ballot hall of famer potentially being injured for the home opener is a far cry from wishing the guy gets hurt.

I'm not cheering for injuries. And I don't think I'll cheer about the injury itself. I'm just delighted by the possible ramifications.and paradigm shift of Brady being out Week 1...or possibly the season...or possibly ever.

agree to a degree, i think if the title loses the exclamation point

the exclamation point makes it "Philly style" a little. I ain't hating Kdiggz though.....thanks for the news

I'm personally not taking a side. Just reporting what I saw. It's big news either way, thus the exclamation point

I'd be 1-0*

*denotes that the win is not really a win against the Patriots because Tim Tebow was the starting QB and we all know he sucks. So good try maybe you can get an actual win against the real Patriots in week 17 when Brady will be back.
