well it kinda is true... last year they didnt know how to win, they were a good team but just didnt know how to finish. Chan was saying they needed to believe in themselves as winners. Well this year they really knew it, they came in the season like pure winners. Then chan during a press conference said, well now they know they are winners, now they have to know how to deal with it... and obviously they didnt.

Example of the success:

First Place AFC East Bills' Ryan Fitzpatrick receives franchise QB money...after fast and impressive 5-2 start!

Example of the failure:

The Bills finish the season 6-10, 4th place in the AFC East, with franchise QB Ryan Fitzpatrick becoming 2011's interception leader!

I still doubt Fitz will command this team in 2012!

The team wasn't ready to be successful??? Then why did they bother to strap on their helmets & take the field? Where's the hunger? Where's the drive? That's basically saying, "well we went through the motions during the week in preparing, but we really don't think we're going to win when we take the field." Thanks a lot!

Wow, what a leader.Backups can't handle success.

Uh, if you didn't notice, they couldn't handle success, hence the 6-10 record after a 5-2 start. What happened during the season? Teams took the Bills for granted. Philly was a train wreck all year, KC was at its worst the first half of the season, Patriots had the classic "trap" game. It is what it is, and there isn't anything that Fitzpatrick said that is wrong. They couldn't handle the pressure, simple as that.

I don't know if the whole team couldn't handle the pressure but we don't know that our QB couldn't.

Okay, so your good with a quarterback and team that can't handle pressure, Which was the pressure to continue to succeed by winning. Yep, nothing wrong with that when your talking Bills.

I agree. They had success and couldn't finish. The stats certainly support that conclusion.

Thanks for pulling the Chan quote too. Boomer and TJ said the same thing this past season and in 2008 after a 5-0 start and resigning Dicky J.

I don't see where Fitz's quotes are any different than the things Kelly said back in 1986 when he thought that the Bills needed to "learn how to win." Lots of guys on that team used to say the same thing. It's part of the maturation process of a young team. I don't see any problem at all with Fitz's assessment.

GO BILLS!!!
