  1. I was thinking that as well, could McDermott put aside the ego and and put the teams first ? I actually think he could and would do it.
  2. While I may not agree that this single game will tell us if this head coach can win a SB or not, I totally agree with everything else you wrote. At some point if the defense is not going to step up and get a timely turnover or god forbid force a punt late in a close playoff game, then you either make a tough decision to move on from a really good HC in hopes of getting over the hump or you go down in history as being the organization that played it safe and didn’t win anything with one of the greatest QBs if all time.
  3. Why thank you good sir, I shall take your critique into thoughtful consideration when posting my personal experiences in any future discourse in this forum. Just for my own benefit and growth as a TBD poster, would you mind just telling me what embarrassing act of mine was causing me to “try and save face” ? This is fascinating, an outstanding opportunity to learn “typical human behaviour” about one’s own self without paying a single dime.
  4. Please person of which I know not of… tell me what it is I was trying to recover from ? Trying to recover from a football take based upon my own personal experience lol.. I must have intended something sinister lol.
  5. Josh apologizing for not being there in person to accept his 1st MVP on a prerecorded message while he prepares for the SB. This is how I envision it playing out.
  6. Or you could expect to make the playoffs every year, because that’s what all time great QBs do, and be hopeful that Lady Luck smiles upon the team, that McDermott doesn’t piss down his leg, that the teams remains healthy and maybe we can all enjoy a title. Or like my buddy, piss and moan and complain about anything and everything and insist the team will never win… that way when they get bounced from the playoffs you can say I told you so and feel no pain of defeat.
  7. That may be the case for some… I’d just say, that crowd is happier and more fun to be around in general lol. My point was only how sad it is to watch fans not be able to truly enjoy the Josh Allen era because of expectations.
  8. I deal with it daily in rl, my buddy was a much more tolerable and fun Bills fan during the draught. The high expectations of this team has ruined some fans ability to enjoy the team in the moment. Kind of sad to be honest.
  9. I hope whatever family issue he’s having are solved quickly, Allen needs him. Probably can get away with not having him this week but definitely need him to make a deep run.
  10. Another great pick for Bean.
  11. It’s a mindset for a segment of fans, plenty were making similar proclamations about Spencer Brown. The Kid looks very promising.
  12. I meant Texans winning is the upset
  13. Nobody is gonna argue the team isn’t excellent, they can be the best team since the 90s and not have a top 5 roster in the NFL, which is exactly the case. We’ll agree to disagree. Unfortunately you’ll be reminded how great of a franchise the Bills are when Allen walks out the door, maybe they hit the jackpot on another QB right away, we all pray for that lol.
  14. This is not a top 5 roster … it’s a big reason, amongst many why Allen will win his 1st MVP.
  15. Yeah I’m not sure, maybe it’s supposed to be a big reveal on award night.
  16. Dude is one of my favourite players and an absolute monster.
  17. MVP voter Pete Prisco on CBS today was asked who he thinks is gonna win MVP, his answer “It’s determined, I’m leaning in one direction, um… I’m not gonna reveal it, we’re not allowed to supposedly, I’m leaning to a QB in Buffalo, let’s put it that way” I’m sure they’ve been instructed to not reveal their vote, but it didn’t stop Prisco today.
  18. The fact you don’t think much of his priorities is irrelevant, it’s a very meaningful streak not only to Allen but his teammates, especially his oline responsible for keeping him healthy.
  19. It’s important to Allen because it shows his ability to play through injuries for his teammates, that he’s a guy they can count on to be under center every week. It’s a streak that matters because of the perception from the men in the locker room, he doesn’t give a damn if media or fans see him as tough.
  20. It was actually Mahomes who did it last in his 50TD MVP season
  21. Yeah I’m thinking it’s not as close as some people are saying, Allen will receive somewhere in the 40 1st place vote range and maybe more imo.
  22. lol I thought the same thing, craziness.
  23. Of course Allen knows the ball needed to be higher, I can understand how that display could be taken negatively. I’m just viewing it as a rookie WR telling Allen it’s a TD if it’s up, he did it instantaneously and without malice, if this was an every week event I’d have issue, if this was a 10 year vet like Cooper then I probably have an issue. I don’t see this as anything at all as a stand alone incident.
  24. Nothing wrong with Allen be reminded that Keon’s catch radius is best utilized vertically in the end zone, I don’t see the problem here. we’ll just agree to disagree.
