  1. Isn’t he big, fast and athletic? I thought that was a large part of why he was drafted so high.
  2. Seems like a good dude, hopefully he makes Beane look smart.
  3. The Browns aren’t the organization to help cultivate the skills and talents of any young QB. Maybe Sanders is the best of an uninspiring QB group in Cleveland, but it won’t matter because until they get new ownership and a new direction, it’s just more of the same.
  4. Bosa was never going to be running around in OTAs, how’s your calf ? A little sore ? Wink wink… ok let’s hold you out until training camp and we’ll slowly ramp you up from there until week one.
  5. Not sure what metrics are used to differentiate between those players you mention and Dawkins, I’m going to take your word for it that there’s something obvious being used to set them apart from Dawkins, I don’t follow other teams LTs enough to know anything.
  6. Yeah I agree… if you’re visiting this board daily year round and posting, you’re definitely dealing with a sickness level of fandom that most average fans would deem obsessive.
  7. His father did ok for a non HGH, TRT athlete. It’s a massive shadow to live in, I hope he makes his own mark on the league.
  8. I guess they really take into account the close premium parking space between McDermott and Beane written into his contract as “help”
  9. If he looks in camp the way he looked last season then yes please.
  10. Bowers and Thomas jr should be higher in my opinion
  11. Yeah I expect him to be stronger and improved, the McConkey comparison is useless to me, how much better will Coleman be compared to his rookie year, that’s the comparison that matters
  12. I’m in the minority I guess, but I’m a fan of Bills players while they’re playing for the Bills. Once they wear another uniform they’re dead to me, my allegiance is to the logo, not the names. I don’t go out of my way to dislike former players, but I don’t go out of my way to defend them either. They were a cog in the machine, replaced by hopefully an upgraded cog.
  13. “The yeams” had me getting ready for a pregame potato salad recipe… then it went downhill from there.
  14. You didn’t like Derozen dribbling off his own feet in the playoffs ? lol
  15. 100% agree on Beane’s inability to find difference makers, it’s a BIG reason why they haven’t won a chip yet. On the other hand, Beane has been exceptional at filling out the roster with more good/very good players than maybe any other GM in the league. To be somewhat fair to Beane, finding Blue chip difference makers is very difficult when you’re drafting 25th or later every year, I’d say it also takes some luck. As someone else said in this thread, the Allen pick has cemented Beane’s legacy in Buffalo, but the full story of Beane’s legacy is still being written and if he doesn’t win a championship with Allen at QB his reign as GM in Buffalo will ultimately be seen as a disappointment IMHO.
  16. Looking at this list, I’m reminded how much delusion I needed to get up for most of those seasons. I’d convinced myself of great things on the horizon with very little data or logic, wild stuff.
  17. With all due respect, the Sabres are more likely to be rostering Mitch Trubisky than Mitch Marner. Unfortunately the Bills and Sabres are at opposite ends of the desirability spectrum and Marner is getting paid no matter where he ends up.
  18. I agree with the overall critique of Beane’s seeming lack of willingness to emphasize WR in the draft since taking over. I just don’t think what he did this year is worthy of criticism when you consider the overwhelming needs on defense combined with the poor WR class in this years draft.
  19. News flash to those people, every relationship is transactional including their own loving marriages with their “age appropriate” spouses.
  20. This is an argument Beane’s wife makes to her friends on her 4th glass of wine during the monthly book club meeting.
  21. I like Marino, respect his knowledge… I’ll hope the Bills scouting department has more insight into the kid and Marino is wrong, we’ll know soon enough
  22. Ravens and Eagles most loaded rosters in football, then a drop off to 3rd
  23. On the bright side, it’s likely the young man will enjoy this amazing accomplishment tonight without ever seeing, reading or hearing about this drivel.
