  1. Just more evidence of Allen’s greatness, so much winning year after year with a deep, but not elite roster while carrying an average coaching staff.
  2. I’m sure his defensive teammates are gonna love these quotes… after all, it’s not like Allen was doing the “hmm”pose after every score after the “hmm” t-shirt debacle when they found out they were underdogs at Buffalo a week after dropping 70 on Denver. Allen isn’t paying attention at all.
  3. Yeah, I respect your opinion, I think it’s wild but I’ve had some crazy opinions in my time lol.
  4. “I was recently at an AHL hockey game and these guys were noticeably better than the dynastic Edmonton Oilers and New York Islanders teams that I often saw live before my very eyes during the 1980s.” I’m assuming you’re referring to the overall size and speed of the players, which I agree and it’s pretty obvious, and not that you’re implying that an AHL team full of players who’ll never step onto an NHL ice surface could even compete, much less beat 2 of the greatest teams in league history chalked full of HOFers.
  5. This is about as spot on as any post I’ve read recently, for some fans unfortunately they won’t realize just how much of a force Allen is until he’s gone.
  6. The 4 elite QBs all being in the AFC is madness, it makes the Chiefs 3 titles even more impressive. Just getting one title outta the AFC field during this era will be looked back upon as monumental.
  7. Allen Lamar Burrow Mahomes these are the only currently elite QBs… once you get to 5-10 it’s all about preferences and projection.
  8. I wouldn’t take 500 over a Tiger Cat Grey Cup… 500 or a SB ? lol I’m poor as sh*t and that’s a laughable proposition.
  9. I don’t put much stock in a QB throwing to two #1 WRs in a shootout every week always playing from behind. Burrow is an elite QB, he’s just a tier below Allen Lamar and Mahomes.
  10. It’s a great idea for teams, not so much for players, hence the issue
  11. Beyond Allen, any one player won’t move the needle but if there were a rash of simultaneous significant injuries to starters then that’s a different story.
  12. Allen is the only player who would effect win lose record beyond one game either way imho. maybe one less win without Dawkins or Brown.
  13. He can squarely cement himself a nice backup roll, and if/when injuries strike have an opportunity to put meaningful snaps on tape. I like the player.
  14. Inject this straight into my veins please
  15. Yup, luckily for Bengals management there isn’t much respect from players and agents to begin with, so not a big loss.
  16. Judging by the very low bar being used by most fans stemming from his limited year one snap count, he has an opportunity to surprise with very little year 2 improvement. Nice spot to be in I guess.
  17. lol it really does, and how good would 17 be on SNL
  18. Ok guess I’m in the minority, but I believe if they’re able to protect him I that he can definitely compete for a wildcard. Rodgers numbers last year were decent, especially considering the organization he did it with. Steelers aren’t striking fear into the AFC contenders with this signing, but they could definitely cause some issues within their own division if they can protect.
  19. A few dozen ??? Holy crap, please tell me there’s some explainable reason for receiving that many wedding invites, the alternative of me being friendless and/or myself seen as too poor to afford an acceptable wedding gift is horrifying lol. Im 53 and in my entire life have been invited to maybe 6 weddings and attending 3. I never thought any kind of way about it… until now lol. Ok ok, I just read your post again and seen you stated you’re from a large Italian family, that makes me feel a little better lol.
