The patient input has some relevance to the doctors opinion about the wether the ligament is fully healed or not ? If the player say’s “doctor my knee doesn’t feel right” , don’t the doctors know if the ligament is actually physically healed and the player is in his own head ? I’m not arguing for the sake of arguing, I’m open to be educated.

I understand some players will take longer than others to get past the mental aspect of playing on a repaired knee, I’m talking strictly about getting the green light to physically play football again and once that’s given, is there a physical benefit to not playing immediately. I’m sure we can acknowledge the further away from the injury a player gets the more comfortable they’ll feel and thus hopefully play better, but if the doctors say you’re no more susceptible to reinjury today as opposed to 4 weeks from now then why wait ? Thanks, that’s what I was wondering and could never understand people wanting players to sit longer than necessary.

Serious question…. Once a player has been deemed 100% by doctors to play football is there any reason to not come back at that point ? Is taking 2,3 or 4 more weeks some how beneficial to a knee that’s already been 100% cleared to play ? If the answer is no, then I want him on the field immediately after getting the go ahead no matter when that clearance comes.

This is where I come to find Bills news and updates and I find much of the discussions to be entertaining.

Sal also said today that Elam’s pick of Allen wasn’t really a pick because a fellow journalist told him he seen a clear hold by Elam lol. -
Sal on WGR trying to save face after insisting it was very unlikely Bates wouldn’t be the starter, even going as far as to say Torrence didn’t have a man’s body at 6’4 345lbs lol. Now instead of just admitting he may be wrong he’s turned to the Bills want Bates as the all purpose backup and losing out to the rookie won’t be because of anything Bates has done wrong.

Wow, that ball placement is ridiculous.

PFF Top 50 Players for 2023 - Josh Allen at 12, Diggs at 24

The old “ if you take away these performances you then have these conclusions “ lol take away Allen’s last 3 seasons scoring more TDs than any other player league wide and he’d be just a guy. -
Playoffs, 4th and 8, game is on the line (personel hypothetical).

Yeah Diggs Davis outside Kincaid Cook inside… that’s real nice -
Turnovers are only part of it… nobo, dy is saying the excessive INTs for Mahomes and Burrow prevent last season from being elite for those guys… Allen threw for 35TDs and it was he’s least amount in 3 years, 22 was Hurts most in 3 years, I’m saying he’s on the right path but just not there yet. This is just my personal belief and standard, but I don’t think you can enter the conversation without hitting 30 TD passes, and even then it’s the starting point and now you look at other aspects. of course I retain the right to change my opinion if and when a QB regularly dominates the league while throwing for 22 TD passes. I do believe Hurts will continue to improve in the passing game and I’ve never felt that way with Lamar.
-
Nope, he had an outstanding season, but to be considered an elite QB you have to be an elite passer of the football, the rushing numbers are all gravy but without the ability to consistently beat teams with the passing game you have Lamar Jackson and now Hurts unless or until he progresses in the passing game. Jimmy G wins lots of games, that alone doesn’t make an elite QB. I agree he had an elite season and yes rushing stats count, the difference being you take away Allen’s rushing stats and he still has an elite season passing alone, the same can’t be said for Hurts. He can get there, but he has a ways to go in the passing game.

22 passing TDs with those weapons and that oline… he has a ways to go before being an elite QB

Am I missing something here, I just seen Sam Monson interviewing on one Bills drive and said Allen is #12 but the #2 QB on the list. -
17 has been more than good enough to win a title since 2020 and there’s no reason to believe that will be changing any time soon. Allen like every other elite player can always work on parts of their game that need it. The Defense has to stop giving up 10 points more than it’s reg season avg during the playoffs.. when that happens they’ll win a title.
