  1. Nope, he had an outstanding season, but to be considered an elite QB you have to be an elite passer of the football, the rushing numbers are all gravy but without the ability to consistently beat teams with the passing game you have Lamar Jackson and now Hurts unless or until he progresses in the passing game. Jimmy G wins lots of games, that alone doesn’t make an elite QB. I agree he had an elite season and yes rushing stats count, the difference being you take away Allen’s rushing stats and he still has an elite season passing alone, the same can’t be said for Hurts. He can get there, but he has a ways to go in the passing game.
  2. 22 passing TDs with those weapons and that oline… he has a ways to go before being an elite QB
  3. Am I missing something here, I just seen Sam Monson interviewing on one Bills drive and said Allen is #12 but the #2 QB on the list.
  4. 17 has been more than good enough to win a title since 2020 and there’s no reason to believe that will be changing any time soon. Allen like every other elite player can always work on parts of their game that need it. The Defense has to stop giving up 10 points more than it’s reg season avg during the playoffs.. when that happens they’ll win a title.
  5. Agree to an extent… but it was more the ineptitude of Bills coaches with the game won and 13 seconds, Mahomes took advantage because he’s awesome
  6. that’s some manly soap opera wishful thinking right there lol. If this were an alternate universe and this romance novel were true, I think it would make Diggs look worse not better. A grown man throwing a hissy fit over another grown man’s sexual exploits because he somehow thinks that said man can’t serve his human needs and perform at work simultaneously is hilarious. That’s why this can’t be true, I refuse to believe Diggs is acting a fool and up in another man’s business(sex life).
  7. A Bills fan called me a “homer” recently because he’s convinced the Bills aren’t winning the division and will never win a title with McDermott and I’m disagreeing with him. I think the part the makes some of the “realists” upset is seeing other fans actually excited for the upcoming season while they won’t allow themselves to feel the same. When did being a homer of your favourite team become a bad thing ? I was like “yeah I’m a homer, why aren’t you ?”
  8. This is the most boring period on the NFL calendar… brutal
  9. I get what you’re saying.. but he didn’t miss games and continued to win games and be our best option regardless of limitations due to injury. It’s a combination of toughness, desire and luck.
  10. We all know every player suffers injury, being the Ironman doesn’t mean you don’t get injured. Playing through injuries and not missing games is a trait displaying physical toughness and of course lots of luck in avoiding catastrophic injury. There’s been plenty of big men in the NFL, Allen is a monster who also happens to have a burning desire to be on the field.
  11. Yeah lol… I’ll be watching for the milk check whenever I see the possibility arise
  12. Ineffective against the dolphins? Without looking did Allen not have close to 400 total yards and 3 TDs ? And woulda had another 100 yards if not for drops… maybe I’m remembering wrong
  13. He like every other player in history has areas in which he can focus his attention and try to improve but there’s no perfect player. I get the exercise, let’s point out these areas and discuss. I hope fans while participating in this can appreciate they’re watching a HOF QB who’s been good enough to win a Super Bowl for 3 years now with another 10 years upcoming.
  14. I love the idea of Allen and Diggs keeping it afloat, Patriots roaster is decent and in no way as good as the Bills roster IMHO. Allen is so much better than any QB the Patriots are going to trot out there that even if they actually had a better roster it wouldn’t be enough to overcome 17. The Dolphins and Jets might actually have better rosters than Buffalo and both have legit QB options and yet it’s still not enough to knock Buffalo outta the favourites seat for the division.
  15. Lol the Bills are going to kick their teeth in … you’ll see the difference in Jolly old England
  16. Yeah completely valid points.
  17. Of course there are no guarantees, but continuing to fail without change doesn’t sound logical even if you believe they’re good enough to win it sooner or later. For me personally, if they haven’t won a title when it’s time to extend Allen on another monster deal, then it’s time to go in a different direction. I reserve the right to be totally incorrect in my assumptions and opinions because I don’t know *****!!
  18. Very interesting, I’m all for making a change if there’s a clear upgrade available, but I’m not for making the change for the sake of change unless this goes dramatically south. I’m more of the mindset that if you continue to have a top 5 scoring offense and an elite QB year after year that at some point things will break your way and you’ll get that title. I’m in no way interested in watching Allen’s career being ######ed due to inept coaching, at some point the change needs to happen if they can’t get there.
  19. In fairness, 30 other teams have failed to accomplish that over the same time period
  20. I know a Bills fan at work who says “ where was their impressive win last year ?” I said “how about at KC ?” he says “other than that one” I find it strange that I’m defending a 3x straight division winning Bills team coming off a 13 win season to another Bills fan.
  21. Ahhh ok, makes sense, thanks for the clarification.
  22. Wasn’t it widely reported the Elbow injury limited his short and mid range accuracy ? He was limited with arm angle variation. Maybe I’m remembering incorrectly.
