OBJ is the Kyrie Irving of the NFL.....plays well when he needs to get a big contract, once he has that big contract he becomes a problem.

They could trade Oliver, use that money to bring back Lawson and Phillips, and draft a DT as well.

The original argument was not Davis vs. Shakir, it was the idea that Davis would be gone if the Bills brought in Hopkins, and I don’t think that would be the case. If anything, the Bills will probably carry one extra receiver rather than four RB’s on game day, replacing Taiwan Jones roster spot with Sherfield(WR/ST).

No offense, but what has Shakir done to be deemed the “starting slot receiver”? I’m not saying it’s possible, but saying he is a starter at this point is a bit of an overstatement, IMO. Davis has made plays in both the regular season and the playoffs....I find it hard to believe he would not be in the Bills future plans if Hopkins is brought in or not.

I really want Darnell Wright T Tennessee with pick 27, but unfortunately it sounds like Beane is going to give Brown one more chance at RT. I don’t agree with that...let’s hope it’s just a Draft smokescreen to keep other teams guessing.

I still have confidence that Gabe Davis will step up and lock down that number 2 WR position, although I am not opposed to taking one in the first round if one of the top talents fall to pick 27, or one in the mid-rounds that has size and speed to develop and compete for that spot in the future.

This is my pick as well. A lot of people say you should not take a RT in the first round, but at this late in the first round and if other targets have already been picked, I say go for it.

I’m sure this was mentioned somewhere in the 29 pages of this thread, but it is possible that he could be a Jamison Crowder replacement.

In one of the million mock drafts out there, (don't remember which website or news outlet it was from) the Mock had the Bills selecting Broderick Jones T Georgia. The writer went on to say that if the Bills go this route and select a LT prospect in round 1, it would allow them to slide Dion Dawkins from LT to LG: "where he would go from being an above average tackle, to being an elite guard." Does anyone agree with line of thinking, and more importantly, does anyone think this scenario could be on the Bills radar? Thoughts?

Love the idea of Mims in the second round, especially if the Bills nab a top-shelf O-line prospect in the first round.

Just looked it up...Edmunds had 19 reps at his combine....not a big difference, IMO.

And we all know combine results are the be all and end all of how a player will perform on the field... I am hopeful that the Bills can bring in a reasonably priced vet LB, so they don’t have to rely on a rookie in the middle of the D anyway.
