  1. Watched the Kiper/McShay mock draft last night....Lloyd was available at pick 25 but they had the Bills select Andrew Booth CB Clemson....if the Bills pass on Lloyd at 25 for Booth, that would not be a “Beane” move, IMO. Lloyd ended up going at pick 31 to the Bengals....no way he lasts that long!
  2. Dick Enberg with his "Oh...My" call was great....I am pretty sure he was the announcer for all 4 AFC Chamionship games the Bills won back in the 90's. On a side note, I always wished retired NHL announcer Mike Emrick covered NFL games. He was always great during the NHL playoffs, and I know he would have brought a lot of excitement to the booth for NFL games.
  3. I call this the Freak Athlete Draft: 25. Chris Olave WR Ohio St. 57. Kyler Gordon CB Washington 89. Rachaad White RB Arizona St. 130. Damarri Mathis CB Pitt 168. Cole Turner TE Nevada
  4. Yep.....the only players the Bills should be entertaining trading up for should be Sauce Gardner, Devin Lloyd, or Jameson Williams, IMO.
  5. Traded next years first to move up: 12. Sauce Gardner CB Cincinnati 57. Kenneth Walker III RB Michigan St. 89. Nicholas Petit-Frere OT Ohio St. 130. Zyon McCollum CB Sam Houston 168. Cole Turner TE Nevada
  6. Its really not about whether Edmunds sucks or not, its about if you want to pay Edmunds 17 million per year for the next 5 years, or draft a comparable and most likely better player in Lloyd who will be on a rookie contract for the next 5 years. If possible, I prefer option number 2.
  7. Exactly.....when he is on NFL Live with Marcus Spears and Orlavsky, it is completely unwatchable. I like Ike to call them “The Three Stooges”, then change the channel. Its amazing these guys get paid for their trash takes.
  8. I don’t think anyone was “pounding the table” for this guy!!!
  9. Not just any rookie....Lloyd is arguably the #1 LB prospect in this draft. I don't think its unreasonable to think he could replace Edmunds and be good right away, and think that Edmunds is good enough to fetch a second round pick, IMO.
  10. I stated that the trade for Edmunds would be contingent on him signing a long term extension....I agree that no team would trade a second round pick for a one year rental.
  11. In my scenario, I was assuming the team that traded for him would sign him to a long term contract, therefore they might be willing to part with a 2nd.
  12. Lloyd has been available in 4 of the 5 mock drafts I have done over the last few days....that’s what got me thinking about this scenario. In my scenario, the Bills would use the money saved from Edmunds contract to sign a vet CB instead of drafting one early....I would prefer a vet CB over a rookie CB.
  13. I sort of see your point, but this is a veteran-laden defense.....that might make things a little smoother for the rookie in that respect
  14. Would you select him, and trade Edmunds to a team with a top 15 Second Round Pick?? I know there are a lot of what-ifs in this scenario, but if the draft did fall this way, and a team with a top 15 second round pick was interested in trading for Edmunds...I would pull the trigger immediately on this. Although I do not hate Edmunds as much as many on this board, I am certainly not a fan of giving him a huge contract extension either. Lloyd is a beast of a LB, and could easily end up being better than Edmunds quite quickly, plus he would be on a cheaper rookie contract for the next 5 years. I would use the second round pick from the trade to draft Breece Hall, the Bills actual second round pick to draft a speed WR like Metchie III, and use the cap savings from losing Edmunds contract to sign one of the Veteran CB's still on the market. What do you think??
  15. I think his screen name says it all......Huh??? What???
  16. Its probably more like the Pegula's actually have cash on hand to spend and Ralph did not. I believe Ralph bought the team in 1960 for $100,000. Most of his wealth was tied up in the value of the team, and couldn't compete with the other owners. Pegula is now one of the richest owners in the league and the up front money he is able to put out there in contracts is hard for other owners to rival....its nice to be on the top of the pyramid for once!!
  17. Visual representation of the Bills offseason: I'm so glad the Bills have an owner who can afford it!!
  18. He seems like a “guy who is good at football” instead of a “football player”. There is a sharp difference in attitude and motivation between the former and the latter, IMO.
  19. CB from Cincinnati......played opposite Sauce Gardner....think he would be a good pick for Buffalo in round 2 or 3. Nick Cross S Round 4 Cole Turner TE Round 5
  20. I'd definitely be down with that trade! As for trading up with next years first....if the Bills do that, there would be a high chance that the Bills would trade Diggs for a first next offseason to get that first rounder back....especially if they trade up for Jameson Williams.
  21. Its gotta be somewhere....I’d be interested to see that as well.
  22. I’ve been waiting for them to pick YACHT....that would probably be a tough one for anyone to figure out in less than 6.
