I am Mostly an 18 and a 20. Every week, I leave the Bills Backers Bar in Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati reminding myself that I have a good week of work ahead of me and that they'll play again next Sunday. Usually I don't want to see them for a very long time after week 17 so I don't mind leaving that one knowing they don't play again for a while.
I Billieve every year, untill about week 10 when its all "mathematically" over for us. Usually that comes in the middle of a stretch of 7 for our last 8...as losses! GO BILLS!
Regardless, I love the Bills and always will. They're in my blood. Sometimes that sucks, but its kinda cool too. I've never wavered, even tho I was 12 the last time the Bills went to the playoffs. Every year I come back with optimism. Always will.
Whats the PS look like in your scenario? I like your roster, just thinking about who else we keep to develop. I like the WR from E. Wash. Mainly because of his size.
I really like this draft. I thought we did well and got quality players with a ton of big-time college football experience under their belts. We got big and fast at some positions of need, and we drafted versatile players with toughness. These guys are "football players." You know, guys that just love to play the game and play it fast, hard, and under control.
I would be over the moon if I were Stevie. Dude just got a ton of help at his position and a young QB who can spin it. There is no way that Stevie is wondering about his job status.
I would take that deal. I Would love to pick 31, 34, and 41. I think we could get three quality starters with those picks. Otherwise, we only get 2. 3 is better than 2. Therefore, I like this deal.
I have to say that I don't know much about Nassib, but I think it is extremely likely that he is the pick...regardless of where we end up picking in the first round.
I think it has a lot to do with trades and maneuverability within the draft. I agree, not a huge deal, but it might be the difference between making a trade back into the bottom of the first or not.
I read it and I work for the Bills...I got cable, rent, student loans, water, right on down the line...
Oh, did you mean the Buffalo Bills? Who cares? I mean, in the end they are doing exactly the same as the rest of us...just working for the Bills.
I think its funny that people are citing Byrd's lack of experience in the new system. He has had a new DC 3 times in his career, if I remember right. Fewell, Edwards and Wannstedt. Byrd is a great safety, and clearly has no problem playing well regardless of the scheme. To cite lack of experience in the new system is ridiculous.
I just can't believe that Ryan Nassib is being talked about as a franchise NFL quarterback... Damn. According to BBBlog, one guy has Nassib as his top OVERALL prospect. WTF man. I just don't know what to make of it all.
Just remembered this as well.
In May 2012, ESPN fired a writer named Sarah Phillips who apparently did not exist either...

Without having read the thread, I just have to say that this story is one of the most bizarre and crazy things I have ever heard in my life. Just so strange and out there...
