  1. Just to clarify my OP, I think Gilmore is awesome. He is a really talented player and it shows while watching practice. That being said, he did have several plays, including a long INT that was discussed in another thread (by 5 Wide, i think) where he was clearly holding the WR's hand in order to not get beat. A few other times, I saw him bumping WRs well past the allowed 5 yard "Contact Zone." I just think he needs to be coached up and review the film of himself in order to not make those mistakes in the regular season.
  2. I was at practice Thursday and Saturday, and while Gilmore looks very good, he also looks like he needs to learn the rules about illegal contact and pass interference in the NFL.
  3. I like Nesbitt. I have no idea if he can play safety at the NFL level, but he is a tremendous athlete. I think they'll get a few practices in before they go hunting for a S. Good to know exactly what you have before you go an throw it away...
  4. My first thought after reading the OP was that Donte was the guy being referred to. If I recall he was a team captain at one point, and obviously felt the NFL needed him more than he needed the NFL. The Player's ego is size of the Pacific. Which is funny because his talent is about the size of Honeyoe Lake. He and others I am sure led to these quotes.
  5. Because we signed a guy in his prime who actually has skills, not a wash-up like Mason or a ... whatever Tebow is like the Jets did. Our guy, Mario is better than theirs. Thats all. Its actually pretty simple.
  6. While most receivers dread getting sent to Revis Island, Johnson says, "I love the Island. It's like a vacation spot for me." Great line.
  7. I think the Captain meant it as an F-U to the Jets. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a guy excited about the upcoming season. Everybody relax and start bashing the Jets with our boy Hindsight. We are all rooting for the same team around here.
  8. I mean, it could be tho right? Yeah, she's ok...
  9. Hindsight is at it again... The Eagles did not make the playoffs last year. What they should have done is won more games, Vick would not have thrown that late INT against the Bills last season if he hadn't already thrown 3 in that game. Also, they could have been more humble after signing all those big time FAs. All right, my work here is done!
  10. Chris Brown on Buffalobills.com usually does a run-down of all of the players in camp that are PS eligible.

  12. Better now that its been brought up. "In other news, The Big Cat Curse in Buffalo is still going strong, 10 whole years after musing about season ending injuries to the team's most coveted Free Agent signing prior to the 2012 season. Today, the 2019 Number 1 Overall pick, who recently signed with the Buffalo Bills of Niagara and Toronto, went down and will likely be placed on Injured Reserve for the remainder of the 2022 season. Real shame. The Big Cat, wherever you are, Damn You!"
  13. I just don't like Vick's ability to create. "Ron Mexico?" Are you kidding me? Now that is worthy of a "C'mon Man!!!"
  14. I would have another Beer.
  15. I said 0 just because they are pretty uncommon. When a team is losing late, and the winning team calls off the dogs, a pass interference or some missed tackles can lead to a meaningless field goal or TD. Shutouts, to me, don't matter. Wins matter.
  16. Draft position doesn't mean anything until you put the pads on and play. Hardy was a 2nd the same year as Johnson. Its about seizing opportunity, not where you were drafted.
  17. Hagan was a good add for a team that had injuries at the WR position. Clowney is a guy that was going to be insurance if we didn't get a deep threat in the Draft. Jones was the starter coming out of camp last year, and is much faster than some of you may remember. He tore apart New England's defense in the first game, and is a tremendous blocker in the open field. I think the guys that make the team at WR are Johnson, Jones, Nelson, Easley, Graham, and maybe Hagan or Roosevelt. I think Aiken is a lock for the PS. Smith is the X-factor. If he can provide depth at WR and QB then, we probably don't keep Hagan or Roosevelt because we'll only be keeping 5 WRs. I think we tell both of them that if we have injuries they'll be the first guys we call.
  18. I have to agree with the OP. Byrd is everywhere. I watched an INT video from this past season, where every (almost every) Bills D INT was on it, and Byrd was almost always the lead blocker if he didn't have the ball. He is a great player and a great defender and as someone said, under-appreciated.
  19. Fitz, Fred, KW, Anderson, Barnett, Byrd
  20. Dude, this is the funniest, and most random thing I have ever seen! I love it!
  21. "Scotch, Scotch, Scotch! I love scotch! Watch it go down, down into my belly! We're on air!? I love Scotch, and the Buffalo Bills." Chris Berman, 11:00 AM every Sunday from September to February. I love the Guy and his voice. ESPN/NFL Icon.
  22. Yeah, so many plays in football are determined by how much you can curl...way to go Maybin. You're just as stupid a Jet as you were a Bill.
