  1. Based on the guys that have visited, for Rd 1 I hope we go with either Gilmore from SC or Keuchly from BC.
  2. I think moving to a 4-3 defense will help this team. We never had the players for a 3-4. It was a square-peg-into-a-round-hole kinda deal. Having Dareus and Williams up the middle in a playmaking role, rather than an eat-up-blockers role will help just by itself. Additionally, with M. Williams, Merriman, Kelsay, Anderson, Barnett and Morrison setting the edge and keeping contain on the outside to funnel everything back inside or string plays to the boundary will help as well. All that being said, I love Keuchly and think he'd be a great player for the Bills. We need LBs that can play multiple positions and cover, so I would all for taking him at 10.
  3. "When I dance, I lose myself!" http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/eye-on-football/18604908/man-tries----and-fails----to-win-a-broncos-cheerleading-spot
  4. I'm pretty sure Jim Nantz said on CBS's golf coverage this past weekend that the NFL Schedule will be released tomorrow.
  5. I want the best play on the board. Back when TD was running things, I hated that philosophy because he and his goons didn't know who the best player on the board was. I believe that Nix and his guys do. If its Decastro, then I'm all for it. (Like Frilly toothpicks on club sandwiches.)
  6. Thanks for stating that. I come to this site hundreds of times a week and rarely open any threads because at this time of year its monotonous. Not anyone's fault, it just is what it is. You're right, all we can do is hope Buddy and his guru's are on target and we'll know after the 2014 season if they were. This is a big year for Carrington, Moats, Batten, Troup, and hopefully Easley. After this season we can really see what they are.
  7. I stopped reading the D&C because of Matthews. I won't miss him and his asinine writing. Good riddance. Don't let the door hit you on your way out.
  8. Great Post. This is something logical to add to this thread as well as all the ones about Fitz. Completely agree. Well said.
  9. Jefferies seems to lack desire based on things i've heard and read. That is a scary thing. I want a guy who wants it bad, someone with a chip. I don't see that with Jeffries. JMO.
  10. Number 1 Wide Receivers lead their team in yards and catches. Its actually a pretty simple formula. Stevie had led his team in yards and catches for the last 2 seasons. So by my logic, he has been a number WR for 2 seasons.
  11. Yay! The Bills are doing their due diligence and throwing smoke. Whoop-de-doo!
  12. I wouldn't Brock. He is not that good, and way overhyped. Long Term Project. I mean, he'd be great for the Pats.
  13. White was an excellent gunner on punt coverage teams.
  14. I trust Buddy. I think we'll have another solid draft this year.
  15. He is 29 in October. So that puts him a year younger than Fitz, and at best a 10 year NFLer. I would not take him unless you are desperate for a QB which we are not.
  16. I am not sold on Glenn, but I never watched him play. I have read the reports about him and know that he started 30ish games at G and only 18ish games at T and some of those were RT. If Buddy and Chan make this pick, I'll trust them, but I would prefer someone different. I really want Floyd, but I don't see that happening. I would love Gilmore too, but again, I don't see it happening.
  17. I'm all about Floyd. He and Stevie would be a great duo. I don't like any tackle besides Kahlil. I think Glenn, who started like 32 games at G in college, is a G. I know he started 18 or something at T but, I think he is probably a natural G. If it can't be Floyd, I haven't the foggiest as to what they'll do.
  18. I'm not sold on Kirkpatrick. I would be very disappointed if that were the pick. I think Gilmore would be a better pick if we are going CB. My favorite is Floyd, but I am thinking that is less and less likely for the Bills. I am not in love with an OT expect Kahlil, but he'll be taken by 10. I'm not sure where we'll go...
  19. I liked it. I think puns are hilarious. Well played.
  20. I would be thrilled with that draft. Well done sir.
  21. I think its a good move for both teams. Giants get low-risk high reward guy and the Bengals get a draft pick for a guy they were phasing out.
  22. I would prefer to stand in at 10 and take the BPA as well as at 41. Like others have said, we have too many needs, and I personally think Buddy will find quality NFL players at every round in a draft. He has proven it, especially with last year's draft. We had guy drafted in rounds 1-7 that contributed in some way. This is a deeper draft in terms of quality NFL players, but it is limited in potential All-Pro Caliber players, so I would hate to lose picks this year. Now, trading back from 10 to the mid-teens or early 20's I would do in a heartbeat.
