1/2 Way Through: Which Coach has the Hottest Seat?
The Cincinnati Kid replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is allowed to be upset of they lose, of course he is! He just can can’t run around all offseason asking for a trade to a contender then pivot and take a sack of cash while his eyes bulge from his head and he makes old-timey car horn sounds knowing the Browns are not serious contenders or even a serious club in the NFL. Actions and words. -

Could see that coming Myles away. 😉 Dude asked for a trade then signed a new deal. He has no business being upset about his greatness being “wasted” while the Browns stink. He chose it. Also, Stefanski… I get there are only 32 of these jobs and only a handful are available year over year, but he will get another HC job based on his success (very serious word choice) with that mess of a franchise. He should resign after the draft. Like as soon as the draft ends, resign. Basically do to the Browns what they did to him for his entire time with them. -
If Olave or Shaheed are a surprise inactive today, it could mean they’re on the move. 👀 I will be watching.

Joe Brady Nuggets from Penn St Insider
The Cincinnati Kid replied to Mat68's topic in The Stadium Wall
Mike McDaniel should be looking for an OC job with an actual QB. He isn’t afraid of the Buffalo winters. If Brady leaves, I would welcome McDaniel as OC. He can run the O and McD and Babich (or whoever) can handle the Defense.- 79 replies

Diggs coming back to Highmark Sunday Night

I feel like he is more likely to punch someone and get ejected than score a TD. Could be that both happen in the same play. 🤷♂️ I could see him getting blown up by Rapp and start jawing and swinging. -

It was very clear that whoever wrote this glances at the league and doesn’t really know any team very well. -

Rodrigo Blankenship is kn TikTok smashing FG from 55-64 yards out. I say we call him. Prater could probably hold. -
No punts and Tasker holds. Problems solved.

Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
The Cincinnati Kid replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
I completely disagree with this point. Football games are long and there are ebbs and flows. I know it is not the same thing, but I was a Varsity Offensive Coordinator for a long time and developed game plans and called plays in games and in high leverage situations. An effective offense does not force the issue until they absolutely have to do so. You have a plan and you stick to the plan until the situation changes that plan. You do that because you believe it is a winning formula. I promise you that if that roughing penalty didn’t occur and the Bills were then in a position where they had to force the issue they would have. The Bills offense changes in a predictable way as does the Dolphins Defense. Good staffs know that and have their contingencies in the game plans and call sheets. We didn’t see it because we didn’t need to see it. Running 4 vertical routes at 4 deep safties is “a classic” cover 4 beater?! i quit. -
Do The Bills Have A Passing Game Problem?
The Cincinnati Kid replied to BillsFan130's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude, I promise you the Bills were not trying to push the ball down the field. Josh consistently threw the ball as quickly as he could and consistently took the underneath throws. That is a combination of game plan (the whole plan includes how they wanted to pass protect which was man on man, no slides), personal groupings (lots of big sets) and an understanding of what the Dolphins were doing defensively. The Dolphins knew just as well as the Bills that they’re strength was their pass rush and their weakness were the corners, so they played deep safeties and tried to keep everything in front of them and rally to the football. So, Josh and the Bills took short passes around the LOS and let guys wiggle for gains of 5-10 yards on completions. Which, after a decent run play or two and 1 or 2 of those short passes make a 1st down. When then makes drives, which lead to scores. The hope is, for the defense, that the O will make a mistake and therefore punt. Josh and the O didn’t make many mistakes. They won as a result. You just can’t throw verts and posts into cover 4. -

Sarcasm because this thread is the most “The Bills didn’t win they way I wanted them to win” vibe in recent memory. The game plan called for short, quick passes to backs and TEs but no deep balls so people aren’t happy and we have terrible pass catchers. So dumb.
