  1. I believe the argument against bringing in Gaffney is the same as the one about bringing in Clark. We don't have a real need for an aging vet on a roster that is going to have make tough roster choices as it is. At the WR position we are going to have to cut guys that have contributed for the Bills. No need to complicate it any further.
  2. Thanks Hindsight.
  3. I agree that young NFLers need to see how their teammates work and get it done in the offseason and weight room, but it does not have to be from a guy in the same position. Nobody works harder than KW, Stevie or Fred. If a young guy on the Bills wants to emulate a work-ethic, then he should watch one of those guys. Dallas Clark is likely done. He had a great career, but as someone pointed out, his production has led to his demise. His body can't take all the pounding anymore. I wish him well in whatever he does after football, but I don't want to give a roster spot to an aging vet with little to nothing left on a roster that is already loaded with guys who can contribute. We are going to have to make some difficult veteran cuts this year, and having Clark would just make it even harder.
  4. There are going to be some guys cut this year that have produced for us in the past. The writing in on the wall and its in the form of competition. I really am excited about it because the level of play is going to go up. Here are my 53: WRs - Nelson, Graham, Roosevelt, Johnson, Jones, Easley TEs - Chandler, Caussin Ts - Pears, Sanders, Hairston, Glenn Gs - Urbik, Asper, Reinhart, Levitre C - Wood RBs - Jackson, Spiller, Choice, McIntyre QBs - Fitzpatrick, Thigpen, Smith DEs - Williams, Anderson, Kelsey, Merriman DTs - Dareus, Williams, Troup, Carrington, Heard LBs - Morrison, Barnett, Bradham, Sheppard, Carder, Moats CBs - Gilmore, Williams, Florence, Brooks, McKelvin, Rogers Ss - Byrd, Wilson, Searcy, Scott Ks - Lindell, Potter P - Moorman LS - Sandborne I think of those guys, Roosevelt, Rogers, Troup, Heard, and Choice are on the "Bubble." Maybe Kelsey too. If we sign VY then Thigpen is likely out as well. I'd like to see other people's 53 man rosters too. I am hoping that Chris Brown will update us on the players that are PS players too because that would help us picture the final roster. Have Fun.
  5. I am hoping that we'll have all our key guys taken care of by the end of the offseason. I think Buddy wants it that way, and I think they players prefer it that way. I am sure someone will act up about it (maybe Merriman because he seems like a difficult negotiation for a number of reasons) but I think its in everyone's best interest to have it done sooner than later.
  6. I thought he was a good player. I would like to see him come in and compete for a roster spot.
  7. And it gives you a bunch of guys to go an get if/when players get injured. Like Reggie Corner and Naaman last year.
  8. It will be an unceremonious end to a great Bills career for Terrence McGee. He was tremendous for us as a 4th rounder in both the Kick-Return and then later at the CB spot. I do agree, though. His body has given out on him. I don't think another team would pick him up unless they were desperate.
  9. And Oswieler! For that matter, why didnt we trade to 4 and take Tannehill! I am so done with team! Who wants to be fast and strong when you could have all the guys the people on ESPN think you should have? GAWWWWW!
  10. He probably thought it was healing and then when he was in for the Offseason Workouts, the team Dr's and Stevie determined that it was not healing as they had hoped when last season ended. I am more than ok with him getting this done now and not 2 months ago and not 2 months from now.
  11. I love Chris Brown and I read his posts everyday...before I come here.
  12. Well, Stevie was a 7th...
  13. This is Funny. John Beck is terrible. Thats why the Skins replaced him with Rex Grossman, and 2 rookies. I'll keep Thigpen, but thanks.
  14. Bet he locked it up on the second end of the first date...."Well, that went well, and seeing as how I'm going to be a millionaire, and you are destined to be the hottest QB wife in the NFL, should we get engaged?" "You're going to be millionaire...I will!"
  15. I wouldn't touch Jeffry with a 39 1/2 foot pole.
  16. I dont want Tannehill. I don't think they'll take a T other than Kalil and they won't trade up to do it. I guess we'll see. I don't care as long as its not Tannehill, unless they trade his azz for something better!
  17. I am unsure of what Buffalo will do as well. Its actually kind of stressful. I guess I'll just have to find something to do to occupy my time until then.
  18. I'm not high on Batten or Eddins. I don't think either make the team. I feel bad for Naaman Roosevelt because I think he is a good player and has made plays for us over the last two years, but I don't think he'll make this team again this year, and I don't think he is high on the list of first guys brought back. I'm hopeful that he can beat out Ruvell Martin in a ST role, but Martin is a great ST-er.
  19. I really think Merriman will be a pass-rush guy only. He can't take the punishment of playing every down anymore. He can get after the QB on passing downs however. I really think we'll have plays where our D-Line will be consist of Merriman, M. WIlliams, K. Williams, Dareus, and Anderson. We'll hopefully get 5 1:1 match-ups. I think at least one of those five guys wins a 1:1 matchup.
  20. We trade out like its on fire! RUN!!!!
  21. I think Jacorey Harris from Miami could be a value guy later in the draft. He had some real nice games at UM, although he was terribly inconsistent at times as well.
  22. I like McNutt a lot. Dude can play.
  23. Thats interesting. I wouldn't mind trading back, but I am curious to see who teams would want to trade up for that we don't feel the same way about.
