  1. Special Asst to the HC
  2. This team us being aided by an unusual year in the AFC in general and the AFCE specifically. They’re very good, but I’m not sure they’re better than the 2020 team. Diggs, Poyer, Hyde, Milano, White and Beasley all in their prime with an ascending Allen… I don’t think this team tops that one.
  3. Doesn’t get the call up if he can’t play. Shavers did exactly diddly squat in his opportunity a few weeks ago. So this can’t be worse, I don’t think. Although, that feel strangely like a “famous last words” situation. 🤷‍♂️
  4. Haha I meant the OP Whiskey Breath.
  5. Username checks out.
  6. Do you know why smaller defensive players don’t wrap up most of the time? It is because they would dislocate their shoulders every tackle. They practice tackles the way you see them tackle in games. It’s not that “mOsT nFl PlAyErS fOrGoT hOw To TaCkLe.” It’s because they actually do it the safest way possible. Tell me you watched football before the merger without telling me you watched before the merger.
  7. Understood. The point isn’t about the player as much as it’s about not hanhing your hat on having a guy instead of 2 or 3 or 4.
  8. Just because we drafted a guy doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ever think about getting another guy. Higgins is really good. He would be awesome with Shakir, Kincaid, and Coleman.
  9. Sure, but I was referencing the fact that they kept DK and Lockett along with JSN. So they, like, have weapons at the WR position, instead of a weapon.
  10. I think the better discussion about the Bills seeing the Seahawks is noticing that when they had Lockett and Metcalf they still drafted JSN in round 1.
  11. Brady retired before last season. He calls games on Fox now, I think. I guess it’s not going that well so far, or so I’ve heard. Anyway, that’s probably why he isn’t using more play action.
  12. This is not true. I got knocked out after a helmet to helmet hit and crumpled to the turf. Woke up with the training staff around me. No concussion. My brother is on this board and was the water boy that day. He’ll verify.
  13. Roses are Red, Violets are blue. The Bills will win this game, I believe that to be true. Now, what about that Haiku…?
  14. That design was horrendous. I wonder what the hell happened when they practiced this play… if you want to move the pocket and get Josh throwing on the move b/c the pass rush is teeing off the do that. Trick plays are for bad teams, desperate situations, and special teams.
  15. You know who has lost a step… Joe Ferguson! He is like 70+ years old!
  16. I love this. I always wondered if I was the only one who ever pondered such things. Turns out its just me and Just Jack. I see you.
  17. Took a few Unders… Colts Game Broncos Game Chargers Game (Herbert GTD) Titans Game Took Swift over 56.5 Rush yards and a flier on Jalen Tolber over 79.5 Rec yards. Good Luck to those who participate!
  18. I’m going with James Cook again this week. He is so smooth and a dynamic playmaker with the ball. The volume should be there, too, between rushes and receptions. Defensively I am looking at Ed Oliver to step up and win some battles in the middle of the OL. Can’t wait to see the lasso!
  19. I love this thread and by Tuesday I will also love/hate you, Corta!
  20. I think it is more about the Giants and their old friends losing a game because they weren’t prepared. If Bass gets a wonky toe nail (or whatever injury) they’ll need a plan and this is the due diligence on that plan.
  21. Always wondered why we say “on the road” when professional sports teams fly to every game. In the air. Through the air. Through the sky. I don’t know. There’s something, maybe. Anywhooo….
  22. Brown is Josh’s guy. So he was bound to get the extension.
  23. I’m going with Cook on offense. He is just so smooth and the catch he has on Josh’s scramble Sunday looked very natural, like he worked on it a lot in the offseason. 15 or so carries and maybe 4 catches for right around 100 totally scrimmage yards for the day.
  24. Thanks Gregg.
