  1. I think Williams is decent in pass pro. Are you saying they shouldn't start Spencer Brown at RT this year? Why are you only saying this now, I haven't seen a single person say that the entire offseason. Where ya been?
  2. They also had Feliciano and Ford starting games and no Kromer. If they were to add Williams at RG what's the issue with the OL?
  3. I don't think the Bills need a dominant offensive line. What so they can run the ball and take the ball out of Josh's hands? Nah. Running a lot is for losers. Just be decent in pass pro and you're good. If Doc is correct and the fallback is Williams then he fits that thinking. Kromer will help too, you've ignored that. The OL seems fine to me. Upgrade it for what purpose exactly? I feel the same about corner. Early in their tenure Derm and Frazier were forced to start an in-season FA called Ryan Lewis at CB and you couldn't tell the difference. The Bills have Tre White and Dane Jackson. They're mostly good. They need a depth piece who can maybe start early in the year if Tre isn't quite ready. Draft one in the 3rd or 4th and be done with it. There's a lot of concern going around over these perceived needs and yes they need to add decent players but these aren't spots where they need all-pros.
  4. That's true, there shouldn't be any rule against it because he can just present it as "this is what I'd need" like any other negotiation.
  5. My question would be can he reveal to the Bills the offers he got without actually signing an offer sheet, so that the Bills can build a roughly similar offer but with a cap structure that works for us.
  6. It's a good thing for Kansas City. "Sucks we're losing Reek but at least we can stick him in the Bills' division, that part is pretty cool."
  7. If Hill didn't want to go to the Jets he could just not negotiate a contract with them. Effectively he has a no-trade clause.
  8. I agree. Just saying I do think buftex has the record correct that he never hired a coach. Russ hired Marrone and the Pegulas hired Ryan. It seems telling that he was here for two coaching searches under two different ownership/management teams and despite being the General Manager nobody ever trusted him enough to hire a coach. Bizarre that if you think about it.
  9. I'm not a Whaley guy but I do agree with you that he never hired his own coach. That seems obvious, actually. I think it was when they hired Ryan that it was reported he wanted to wait for the Steelers to be eliminated and interview their DC Keith Butler (who wasn't a great candidate IMO but still).
  10. Beane came through big time. This is what I've been asking for. Elite talent baby!
  11. I'm glad he was able to cash in elsewhere. Welcome home big guy.
  12. YES. That is what I'm talking about! I like him even better than Chandler Jones. I really admire Miller. Love this.
  13. My big takeaway from this thread is that BADOLBILZ just discovered GIFs.
  14. Blue cheese with wings is legit. I'm not even from WNY Dairy counterbalances spice like nothing else. Clearly it was God's intention they be paired.
  15. The axe never really comes down. They've been running circles around it for a decade+.
  16. I don't think he showed heart, he was perennially afraid to throw the ball. Some QBs are gunslingers. Tyrod played the game scared. Avoiding turnovers was his #1 priority which is a lame way for a quarterback to approach the game. He had more than a jersey number in common with Trent Edwards. Ryan Fitzpatrick for example was gutsy and a vastly better quarterback. I remember Tyrod running out of bounds to take a sack for a loss rather than throwing it away because he was so hard-wired to scramble around and stay safe rather than just...throwing...the football. I know teammates liked him but he didn't seem to have much of a leadership presence or aura really.
  17. Do you know the rules regarding post-Une 1 designation? Can you just designate whoever you want? So there's no reason to ever wait for June 1 in other words.
