This is a good get. He was Offensive Coordinator for two years in Chicago, he was interim HC for 6 games in NO, he was OL/run game coordinator for 3 years with the Rams. This is that experienced guy on the offensive staff that's been missing. He's used to digesting film early in the week and figuring out what run plays to install against a particular opponent, like Scarnecchia did for New England. Happy for McDermott and proud of him for going outside his comfort zone.

Our run game was so good back then people were clutching their pearls over Beanedermott tearing it up and modernizing the offense. We were probably the best running team in the league.

Warner has been pumping out terrible QB takes for years.

It depends who the quarterback is. If it's your boy Tyrod then yes, because he sucks and QB is important. If it's say Matt Stafford or Justin Herbert or someone who can play it would still be a good offense.

Anybody have a take on this George Warhop? He has a lot of experience as an NFL OL Coach, most recently in Jacksonville for the last 3 years.
