They were offered something for a QB who wasn’t going to start. They made the correct move and took the deal. McCarron couldn’t beat out Peterman or Allen not sure why people think he would have made any difference out there yesterday.

Didn't you say the same thing about Peterman when Tyrod was the QB? How many QBs will it take before people realize the team around the QB is not good. None of these guys are franchise QBs who can carry a bad team on their back. The hope is that Allen could potentially develop into one but he is not going to get any help from this offense. If McDermott makes the switch to Allen he needs to be all in and stick with decision for the rest of the year barring injury. Kap or some other retread is not going to save this team.

100% this can the Bills defense step up to keep the team in the game and the offense a chance. I need to see a more physical team that I haven’t seen other than the Jacksonville playoff loss last year. I think the Chargers offense will be too much for the Bills to handle but hoping we can get Shady going on offense. He needs a great game for us to have a chance.

Trubisky is Meh not enamored with him at all. Good running game and strong defense he just needs to manage the game. Now that Greenbay is putting on the pressure want to see how he plays on the next drive.

Team looks soft on defense and hasn’t been good since Schwartz left. Flacco had all day to throw back there while Peterman was harassed all day behind a poor line and lackluster WR play. Not sure why they have Zay on the outside he belongs in the slot. I am hoping Foster or Ray Ray develop quick enough to make a contribution as we look so slow on offense.

Didn’t look good but with Tyrod you know what you are getting with him. Cleveland knows this and they had a shot at the upset despite that. Josh Gordon dropped a decent pass in the end zone. Njoku had some untimely drops as well. On the missed Cleveland fg looks like one of the Steelers was offside and call was missed. Let’s see how long they give Tyrod to gain some chemistry with his WRs as Gordon just joined the team recently.

His replacement Conner ran for over 100yds and 2tds. You may get mid to late round pick if a starter goes down with an injury and that team is a playoff contender.

I don’t think it would matter much regardless of who the starting QB is going to be.

But I thought Tyrod was to blame for all of this? Now who is going to be the new scapegoat. Team has a lot of holes and been saying the talent is not great on both sides of the ball. It starts with the offensive and defensive lines which is our biggest weakness.

Andy Reid knows offense. He brought along Mahomes slowly last year. They are loaded with offensive talent. This is the ideal situation for a young qb to be in. Was hoping we could the same with Josh Allen this year.

Bills made the right decision to move on when they received a good offer from Cleveland. However, for all the uproar over 56 yds Tyrod put against NO. Peterman puts together an even worse performance today. We keep hearing about how bad Tyrod is but it doesn’t really matter who the QB is back there. This team is soft and lack talent on both sides of the ball. We can’t rush the passer and can’t run the ball effectively. Some of that blame goes to the coaching staff but until those problems are addressed we are not going anywhere regardless of the QB.

Defense put this team in a hole to start the game which forced Peterman to make some plays which he couldn’t. The formula for this team is the same as when Tyrod was the QB. Establish the run, play good defense and get a few clutch plays from the offense. Peterman is not going to carry this team on his back just like Tyrod couldn’t. Same thing goes for Josh Allen while he develops into what we hope is a franchise QB.

I am letting him walk regardless of the year he puts together.

Hate betting on the Bills. The Run D looks suspect. If they can stop Baltimore’s run game they have a shot at the upset. I am eyeing the over/under in the Denver/Seattle game instead. It is at 42 and I think it is going to go over despite the betting trends.

How many times is that going to happen before he is replaced with someone else? If we are punting a bunch I doubt any of that will matter end of the day as we will probably be terrible. i don’t mind McDermott replacing under performing players regardless how things play out. I wish he replaced 4/5ths of our offensive line unfortunately that is proving to be more difficult.

I seriously doubt our season lies on the foot of our new punter. So I am fine with the change as Schmidt wasn’t that good to begin with. Apparently the Pats kept him out of preseason games in hopes of stashing him on the practice squad. If it works out great if not go get another punter or even bring Schmidt back.

Hope McBean are scouting some of these guys on the Bears. I would swap out our o line for their 2nd - 3rd string guys.

Honestly I wouldn’t care if they replaced every starter except Dawkins. Hopefully they are targeting teams with strong o-lines. Literally I would replace every backup except teller and put them on the 53 man roster with hopes they could replace the person in front of them at some point during the season.
