  1. I think he fits in good as the slot WR. Still need 2 outside WRs to complement. I would draft one high in the upcoming draft. The team is finally focusing on upgrading the speed at the WR position. It makes things easier for the QB when guys can get open in space. We were overloaded with possession WRs who had hard time getting separation. This makes things much more difficult on the QB when everything is being contested.
  2. Edit my mistake 2 QB league. Yeah you are screwed.
  3. If the coaching staff believes he knows enough of the playbook and are potentially interested in bringing him back next year that would be fine. I rather eliminate any doubt about whether Peterman can play in this league. If they keep him on the roster and can't rely on him to be the backup he serves no purpose on this team and should be cut.
  4. I think you keep rolling out Peterman until Allen is ready. Let Anderson do what he was brought in to do which is mentor Allen. This season is lost and if there is any consideration in regards to keep Peterman on the roster remainder of the year or next season he needs to play.
  5. This guy is the only offense we need. He will take every kickoff and punt for a touchdown. The offense will never have to see the field again.
  6. Fixing the o-line should be priority #1 in the off season and doing whatever it takes both in FA and the draft to field a competent unit out there. I think Dawkins is OK but would benefit by seeing what he can do at RT before moving him inside to guard.
  7. Rex was living off the past and was checked out. He turned the defense over to his brother when he was on the hot seat. He got what he deserved.
  8. There are no guarantees but they will have the cap space and draft capital to improve that side of the ball. We will have to see what their plan is in the offseason. Beane/McDermott are not going anywhere so they will have to find a way to fix the offense or that will become the downfall of this regime like so many in the past.
  9. None of these moves will matter if Allen becomes a franchise QB. Hopefully they give the kid a fighting chance and put a decent team around him next year.
  10. However if we can trade down and get couple extra picks it would be nice to be in the top 3.
  11. Peterman has that gunslinger mentality but doesn't have the arm to take those kind of chances. He definitely needs to be more careful with the ball this week.
  12. What I think tonight shows is that if Kyle Shannahan or Sean Mcvay ever become available. Pegula should bring in the brinks truck and pay these guys. Both know offense and have a QB friendly system.
  13. I think the Bills emptied the tanks for MNF against the Pats. I expect the Bears to roll in this one.
  14. If anything there won't be any excuses for McDermott to keep him on the roster next year if he continues to play terribly.
  15. Start with the offensive line and work your way out. Find some WRs who can get open in space and make it easier on the QB.
  16. Zay is the perfect slot WR. Now get 2 other WRs to play on the outside and we may finally have something. Must draft top WR in the upcoming draft and pair it with some FA signings.
  17. Foles is not worth signing to a long term deal which is what it would take. Just because a guy is good in a system doesn't mean he would be the same in another system.
  18. Where was this when Josh Allen was starting.
  19. At least tonight’s game would be more interesting to watch if Peterman started. Holding your breath ever time Peterman throws an out and wondering if pass about to get picked off. That Indy game was a snooze fest.
  20. We need another developmental prospect so even if he is signed to the practice squad wouldn't be a bad move.
  21. We are not signing him to an extension. So if I was the GM I would be looking to move players who won't be here long term. Too many injury concerns plus I worry about motivation once he does get paid. He is going to need and take a 1 yr prove it deal next year from some team to show he can produce at a high level.
  22. Not seeing enough creativity from Daboll to manufacture offense while Allen gets up to speed.
  23. 2nd year QB with limited experience they can always say he is developing.
  24. Yeah but why give this FO and McDermott any reason to keep Peterman on this roster beyond this season? If he flames out cut him once Allen is healthy. Anderson won't be here next year so I see no reason why Peterman shouldn't be playing. A L is still a loss at the end of the day and I rather lose with Peterman vs Anderson at this point.
  25. I think the right decision was to start Peterman even this past week against the Colts. It will give Beane/McDermott no excuses to keep him on the roster next year if he flames out. There is no benefit to starting Anderson as we are probably going to lose regardless. Hopefully Allen heals up quick and the Peterman experiment ends if he can't turn things around.
