The problem was the amount of money he was making. FO did the smart move in trading and getting a 3rd. The relationship had run its course and it was time to move on. The bad move was relying on Peterman and not having a veteran QB on the roster after trading McCarron.

Been saying there is no point to Anderson playing. He needs to be on the bench right next to Allen. Not sure why Daboll waited till now to show up on the sidelines. He should have been been down here with a rookie playing. I still say start Peterman until Allen is healthy. If he is terrible there will be no option for McDermott to keep him on the roster for next season.

Why Bills aren’t going anywhere and the schedule eases up in the 2nd half. One healthy start Allen and rebuild the entire offense in the offseason.

Give us a 5th and Deonte Thompson back they can have him.

Obviously if he wins every game Allen is out then they have no choice but to stick with the Veteran. I don't see things going that way and would put Allen back in when healthy. If Anderson plays well enough it is possible they won't bring Allen back in until they have been eliminated from playoff consideration.

Well hopefully he puts in a little more effort in this week. I have seen all I need to from this bum. Hopefully he is off the team sooner than later.

They can't keep Peterson on the roster next year and still say they are developing him. Once Allen is healthy he should be cut. Would rather Peterman be sent out there to sink or swim while Allen is out so this doesn't drag into next year. Also, prefer Anderson on the bench right next to Allen going over things during the game with him. I see no real benefit to Anderson playing other than possible mutiny within the team so I understand why decision had to be made.

Not interested in hitching wagon to career backup and making another Fitz mistake. I would rather draft another QB high than go this route. Bills are not winning a Super Bowl this year with this offensive roster and that would be the only consideration I would give to Foles if we had a team that could compete for a championship.

I rather have Anderson on the bench with Allen as they go through the game and watch it together from the sidelines. Put Peterman to the wolves let him sink or swim. If he tanks there will be no reason to bring him back next year which is my biggest fear and hope we don't repeat the same mistake again with him as the back up.

Definitely and that is why he isn't here anymore. He was getting paid too much and the team decided to cut ties. If he was making back up money he would probably still be on this team. I am all in on Allen developing as we have no better options at our disposal. Now it is looking like he can't play this week. I say put Peterman out there until he is ready to come back as we can't have him on this team next year if he can't be depended on to be the backup QB. If he plays himself off the team so be it.

McDermott would be stupid to care what the fans think. What matters is the pulse of that locker room and discussing this with the leadership council on the team to make sure everyone is on the same page. If Allen can't play they have to go with the best option they have. If that is Peterman so be it everyone will have to get on board.

So who actually on the Bills was better than Tyrod? Where are all the people who said it couldn’t get worse than Tyrod when he got benched last year and that Peterman can do the same or better. Clearly the QB play has been worse this year. At least we were developing a rookie so you have to be willing to go through the growing pains but if Tyrod was still here he would be the best QB on this roster which isn’t saying much.

If Allen can’t play it doesn’t matter who starts. If Peterman plays so be it he is playing for a job next year. Either he plays himself off th roster or not. If you can’t count on him to be the back up he shouldn’t be on the team year.

I would give them Benjamin and a 5th to get him out of here.

No thanks. I don't think Cooper is a legit # 1 and his hands are questionable. We will have to look to the draft for a # 1. Then spend money in FA to grab another 2 WRs.

Darnold was more pro ready coming out of college than Allen was. Allen shouldn't have been starting to begin with but no point in crying over spilled milk now. The only agenda the Bills should have now is to get Allen through the season and let him learn from his mistakes as he goes along. Then do a complete tear down/Overhaul of the entire offense and give him some play makers to work with next year.

Zay would be lucky to be a # 3 on most teams and belongs in the slot. It is a bad situation to put a rookie QB in.

Ugh squandered most on my winnings this year on the Bears. As soon as I heard Tannehill was out looked to get quick bet in. Should have gone with the home team as I could not believe Osweiler had any shot against this Bears D.

Because Anderson is not going to make that much of a difference. What exactly are we gaining with him out there especially only being here for a week. If Allen is 100% healthy he should start pure and simple. No using this injury as an excuse to hide your rookie QB. Allen is going to take his lumps this year and hopefully it makes him a better player. Funny how most people wanted Allen to start and now want to play some journeyman backup like that is going to save the season. It is on Daboll to keep things simple for Allen and manufacture some offense with the guys we have. The front office needs to take a long look in the offseason to overhauling that side of the ball if Allen is going to have any shot at being successful.

Allen should start if healthy. No point in yanking him in and out of the lineup as this team is going no where regardless who the QB is back there. Let's not ruin another young QB by jerking him around. More of the blame should go the coaching staff and FO for how they handled the situation. Allen should have never seen the field this year due to talent in the field and how raw he was.
