  1. If we had lost where would we have been after today’s games?
  2. There have been reports that Oliver has been a high maintenance person someone who has gotten everything handed to him and received preferential treatment. I don't see the Bills going that direction regardless of talent. Believe they learned their lesson with Dareus and won't go down that road again.
  3. Few weeks ago I would have agreed as well. Darnold has really turned things around starting with that 2nd half against the Bills.
  4. I am on the opposite end but winning 1k with Desean Hamilton TD sealing it for me.
  5. Don’t believe Brady is 100% healthy. I will know he is done when he announces his retirement.
  6. Is Clay a goner next year or does the team want to take a look at the younger guys?
  7. Bad throw after bad throw by Goff.
  8. I like the guy opposite Fant who is underrated and might be the better player in the pros, T.J. Hockenson 6’5 250. Not sure if he is going to declare but I like him as a complete all around TE.
  9. Zay had a chance and put up weak effort on that play.
  10. For being as raw as he was coming out of college. Allen has been better than advertised in my opinion and the #2 QB behind Mayfield. Coming out of the draft I had Darnold and Rosen 1 and 2. I had Allen #3 over Mayfield. I based that more on measurables and was concerned with Mayfield’s height. However, I did believe Mayfield was more pro ready coming out college than Allen. Was hoping Allen would have a chance to sit and learn for at least half the season but that plan blew up with the Peterman debacle. For as bad as the team around him has been. Allen hasn’t looked out of place. Fix the o-line and get the kid some weapons and I think he makes a jump next year.
  11. Come on Ray Ray got $50 to score TD to win over 1k today.
  12. Aww hell no to injury prone lb who can't stay on the field.
  13. Josh is still very raw and he is more athlete than QB at this point. This was to be expected. I have been pleased with his progress so far. Josh was literally the entire offense today. Fix the o-line and get some athletic playmakers who can get open in space and I think he makes a jump next year.
  14. Fix the O-line and the RBs will look better regardless who plays.
  15. What do you expect he was scrambling for his life and threw across his body.
  16. Obviously will love to just pass the ball but with the talent around him right now, Daboll is going to need to manufacture offense anyway he can as Allen gains experience.
  17. I would like to see more read option plays like what Baltimore is doing with Lamar Jackson/Gus Edwards.
  18. I prefer the running back by committee approach and spending more on the offensive line instead. A good offensive line will make average runners look better.
  19. Was it because guys were injured constantly and there was no continuity at WR? Tought to tell plus the FO went out and got a bunch of bigger possession WRs who don't fit Tyrod's style. I think Tyrod would benefit by having quick shifty WRs who have speed and can get open in space. Even with that I think at his best Tyrod is a .500 QB and the ideal backup QB.
  20. Barkley is great now but as soon as he starts losing the call for Allen will be coming from everyone. Anyone thinking Barkley is anymore than a backup is fooling themselves. Then when Allen struggles the call to draft another QB will begin. There is why playing for a losing organization is so difficult. When the results are not instant people are ready to move to the next thing. Teams change from year to year. Winning culture has more to do with building a foundation, a standard, that everyone from the top to the bottom of the organization follows. The wins come from everyone working toward this goal. The first step in building that winning culture is having a franchise QB. Barkley is not that guy so with the season almost out of reach the focus should be on the younger players. What Barkley demonstrated was that he could be the potential answer at backup QB and deserves opportunity to return to the team next year. The more live reps Allen can get the better prepared he will be for next year. Would I be willing to trade an extra 1-2 wins this year to make a leap next year. The answer would be yes I would. If Allen turns into that franchise QB we have been searching so long for would make all the struggles worth it.
  21. I think the opportunity for Allen to sit and learn went out the window the moment Peterman crapped the bed against Baltimore week 1. McDermott/Bean brought that on themselves by not getting another veteran after trading away McCarron. Now this is a tricky situation regarding the starting QB this week against the Jags. If the Bills are truly committed to Allen they need to let him play regardless of the results. I am sure after a bad game against a talented by inconsistent Jags defense people will be up in arms about Barkley being given another shot. However, that would be the worst situation for your prized rookie to be put in. I think for the long term success of the franchise the time is now to give Allen as many reps possible heading into next year. We are out of playoff race despite not officially being eliminated. Not only for the QB position but other spots as well. We should be incorporating younger guys like Teller and Foster more to see what we have going into next year and what positions need to be addressed. I am curious to see if they milk Allen's injury another week. If Barkley comes back down to earth next week against the Jags it makes it easier to put Allen back into that starter role.
