McDermott needs to have this team ready to go on short rest. Margin for error is gone if they want to win division and compete for the # 1 seed. Offense needs to limit turnovers and on defense figure out how to limit these big runs which continue to kill team. In the offseason need to get bigger and physical on the front 7 tired of seeing undersized defense get pushed around all over the place.

Could also be disciplinary, work ethic and attitude related. I don’t think Coleman is solely to blame for the offensive struggles. Would have liked to see him get some work in the slot with Kincaid out and Shakir dinged up. However, we will see whatever message is being sent from McDermott is received and if Coleman can recover from it.

With this offense and players around him. Allen is going to need to accept that he is going to need to live in that 5-15 yd range primarily and get it to 3rd/4th short where they can attack teams with either run or pass.

With Kincaid out for the next couple weeks want to see how Coleman does in the big slot position. Need to see if there is anything there.

I don’t doubt that Allen didn’t have some type of input on what team could use when it came to the type of receiver they needed. The Bills look like they just chose the wrong guy.

Would like to see Brady incorporate more passing on first down including play action. Everything seems so tight and keeping the other team guessing should hopefully open things up. Also, not using the running backs more in the short passing game doesn’t make sense to me at all. We should be looking to get the ball into the hands of your playmakers and let them create. The unanswered question is still what happens when the other team shuts down the run and whether this team will be able to pass the ball effectively.

I will say that Flacco playing behind same line that everyone called terrible probably indicates some of their issues can be blamed on Burrow.
