Believe a number of external factors affected that playoff game against the Bengals. No excuses but it appeared that the team had no juice from everything that had gone on that season.

But there didn’t appear to be initially open. Allen even tried to make a run for it before resetting and finding Johnson. So more to do with Allen making something out of nothing versus guy being open.

Offense needs to put together strong drive coming out to start the 3rd. Don’t have the horses to run on a consistent basis. Offense is missing burner like we had with John Brown to take the top off defense. Allen is trying to play smart and not force anything with game still in reach.

Nothing would be better than sending the Ravens home next week and Allen thoroughly outplaying Lamar leaving no doubt who is the better QB if both teams advance to the divisional round. Hope Flowers is back too as I want no excuses from Raven’s fans. Seems like the media will find something to nitpick when it comes to Allen so whether he wins regular season MVP or not. Here is hoping he finishes career with at least 1 Super Bowl win to cement his status as one of the best to do it before it is over.

Well some teams can win if the QB doesn't have their best games. I think that won't be true for this Bills team. If Allen has off game I think this team is in trouble. Moreso saying if we get in a shoot out or if Allen has an off game team could get bounced. Like we saw against the Rams. Allen played great but the defense didn't and we lost when they couldn't get off the field on critical downs.

Allen is going to need to have his best month of football this year. Offense needs to get off to quick starts and put the pressure on Nix to answer early. Defense going to need to limit TDs and force some turnovers. I think the winning formula for this Bills team is for the offense to score 30+ each game while the defense attempts to hold the opposing teams to under 30. If we can do that consistently like our chances to reach the Super Bowl and to me it is going to depend on how far Allen can take this team which won't be easy.

Fanduel has them up. Allen's odds are even better now -470 to Lamar at +350. So no week 18 bump for Lamar.

Was hoping for Miami but will settle for rookie on the road making first playoff start. However, Nix is a gamer and big play threat. Hopefully, Bills defense is up to the challenge and can force some turnovers.

Best in NFL is quite the stretch. Bills have solid team full of role players but not much way in the way of stars outside the QB.

Barkley not playing this week and is not going after Dickerson’s record. Barkley was outside shot but definitely out now with no rushing record and more likely to win offensive player of the year instead. Down to Josh and Lamar for MVP. Josh still has good shot to win regardless of what happens but Lamar will have his fair share of supporters. Hopefully, Cleveland’s defense puts up some sort of fight being division opponent as their offense stinks.

If Lamar didn’t win MVP last year with mediocre numbers would have given him the edge this year. However, numbers to me are close despite Allen playing less number of snaps this season and won’t play week 18. Better record and more valuable in terms of where both teams were expected to be gives edge to Allen.

I think it goes to show outside of having Franchise QB position is the 5 guys blocking up front.

Barkley is going to get votes when he breaks the all time season rushing record next week. Definitely won't be unanimous and maybe closer than people think as award is week to week narrative. So see both Barkley breaking the record and Lamar putting up numbers next week to make it close.
