  1. All it takes is one injury and we have no one back there which is scary.
  2. Morgan may be a cut candidate after June 1st since he does not fit in Titan's system. I am concerned about DE depth and think the Bills should be scouting the waiver wire this summer for another guy. Lawson hasn't played position since college and Jerry Hughes is a part time role player who I believe will struggle if asked to do anymore than rush the passer.
  3. More positive news hope it comes true. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000352356/article/source-bills-buyer-must-be-prepared-to-stay-in-buffalo
  4. All this means is that the Bills need to hit on the rest of their picks next year. There will be QBs available after the 1st. The draft is a crap shoot no one knows how it is going to turn out. I mean what happens if we draft another Aaron Maybin and Mike Williams next year. Whaley made the deal and stuck his neck on the line. Let us see how it all plays out.
  5. Hopefully Troy niklas lasts until our 3rd pick. I would have preferred Morgan Moses instead but no complaints about drafting an OT. I trust the Bills medical evaluation so if they say he is fine that is good enough for me.
  6. Looks like it doesn't matter Cleveland just drafted him.
  7. Sucker some other team into trading up for him.
  8. Spiller did his best work out of Gailey's spread offense so there is some hope there.
  9. I think people would be more accepting of this trade had it been next years 2nd and not our 1st rounder in 2015. However, Watkins was identified as one of the elite players in this draft class and we got him. I hope we can swing a decent deal for Stevie. I would take a higher round pick in next yrs draft to make up for what we gave up.
  10. No one is giving a late 1st or anything close for Stevie that is the sad truth. If we can move up for Sammy Watkins and Stevie is included as part of the package I would do it in a heartbeat.
  11. Smokescreen I bet the Bills put that out there hoping someone is willing to trade with them. It makes no sense with all the WRs on the team to draft another one. Are we going to be running 4 wide all game.
  12. Brandon had dinner with Golisano this past week. Things keep getting more interesting as we speak. I think the signs are pointing to the team staying here one could only hope it comes true. http://www.buffalonews.com/city-region/golisano-and-brandon-have-dinner-as-intrigue-over-bills-ownership-grows-20140503?two-bills-drive
  13. I think someone is playing Mcshay for a fool. In a strong draft the Bills need more picks not less. Other than Clowney who might be a once in a generation talent if everything checks out. I don't see the Bills making a move like this for another player. If you can use Stevie Johnson as a trade chip to move up then it makes sense to go after Sammy Watkins.
  14. Good this team needs all the work it can get especially the younger players. I think for EJ he needs to make that jump this year. If you don't see any real strides expect another long year.
  15. There is no need for the Jacobs family to show their hand at this point. Maybe he gets involved if the team is in danger of leaving. All it mentioned was that he would not sell the Bruins to purchase the Bills. Well that is not going to be a problem if their family wants to own both teams. Stan kronke owns the St. Louis Rams, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Avalanche franchises. Jeremy Jacobs can give up control of the Bruins to one of his sons and buy the Bills. The other option would be for someone else in his family to purchase the team as long as they are not part of the Bruins ownership. I think the Jacobs family is still in play here despite everything.
  16. I think both Stevie and Mike are playing for jobs this year and one of them will be cut/traded next offseason. Watch the bills draft a mid round WR with the hopes of easing him into the system and replacing one of the higher priced vets.
  17. He also had posted that Byrd was going to re-sign prior to FA. I don't doubt this guy has sources but I wouldn't put all my hope into what he says unless other people start corroborating the story.
  18. Seems a few people are not so high on the TE class this year. My favorite part Ebron - Big pain in the butt and Seferian-Jenkins - Even bigger pain in the butt haha. http://www.nj.com/times-sports/index.ssf/2014/03/eckel_three_men_love_nfl_draft.html Huge love for the WRs in this draft class. I still think Ebrons will go Top 15 but other TEs may drop some.
  19. Lol no one is going to give up anything for TJ Graham he hasn't proven anything in this league.
  20. Out of respect for the passing of Ralph Wilson. Speculating whether Britt has agreed to join the Bills or wants to continue dialog with team. However, with everything else going on it is on hold. Britt was supposedly going think it over with his wife the weekend and make his decision. Reports have mentioned the Rams being in the lead but the Bills were still part of the discussion.
  21. Does the fact that Britt is still unsigned signals that he may have chosen the Bills but out of respect both parties are holding off making announcement?
  22. As long as it is a short term deal 1-2 yrs pay the man would be huge boost to this defense.
  23. I would go after Thomas Decloud who was released by ATL. Would be a good fit he had a down year but that whole defense wasn't great. This would be an under the radar signings that could have good potential value because he played pretty well prior to that.
  24. Doesn't take away that we still need to draft on the O-line. This is a deep draft and if it doesn't work out we can get rid of him next year.
  25. I hope Chandler moves on I rather upgrade at that position. Chandler is a below avg blocker and a decent pass catcher. Obviously we have lacked something at that position for years but I rather draft someone than spend money at that position.
