  1. Pitt made a nice underrated signing with Mike Mitchell 5 yrs 25 million someone I hoped the Bills would have gone after.
  2. If I were the Bills I would give Parker hard deadline otherwise we are pulling offer and moving on. Waiting on Byrd while he does his tour keeps us from getting in on other FAs.
  3. I agree the Bills made an effort it didn't work out time to move on. I personally think if some of the numbers floated around were true that is too much to pay for a safety.
  4. Aaron Williams says Byrd wants to stay. Obviously doesn't mean much but the window is not completely closed. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/07/aaron-williams-says-jairus-byrd-wants-to-remain-in-buffalo/
  5. Nice aggressive move by the Bills. Front office know Byrd is on his way out. They locked up an up and coming young talent at a reasonable price.
  6. If he is a upgrade over Moats I am ok with it but I don't see him as a starter. Just a core special teams player and back up LB.
  7. 5yrs/48 million, 22 million guaranteed, Cleveland Browns
  8. I would begin putting feelers out to Aaron Williams's agent and offer him a long term extension.
  9. This guy has posted some news in the past not sure how credible he is. Damond Talbot (@drocksthaparty) tweeted at 3:22pm - 2 Mar 14: @ByTimGraham I was told by a very good source Byrd was made a 5 year deal worth over 50 but he does not want to be a Bill ( )
  10. Lol I am confused is buddy nixon and kevin massacre the same person?
  11. Curious what would happen if they ever decided to build new stadium where the existing Ralph is. What if they took a year and played in Toronto how fans would feel about it. Would people freak out and believe they would never see the Bills again.
  12. I would take a shot on him as an undrafted FA similar to Da'Rrick Rogers last year. Guy is talented but off the field issues I don't think teams will touch him. With the influx of underclassmen there is going to be some talented players that will not be drafted.
  13. Always enjoy watching these rookie shows. Everyone knew EJ was raw coming out. He has shown flashes but the consistency isn't there yet. He is looked upon as a savior to lead the Bills back to the promise land. Fans aren't patient and I understand everyone is tired of this team being the same old Bills. The biggest thing with EJ is going to be his ability to stay healthy. I think he has everything you want in a QB from an intangibles perspective. Can he put it all together, he gets next year to show that progress. Otherwise, we start looking for another QB come 2015. I say load up on offense in the draft and add defensive pieces in FA. Surround EJ with playmakers and let him sink or swim on his own.
  14. If Watkins can be what Julio Jones is to Atl you take him. TJ graham is not a starting caliber wr in this league. I rather trade down and get an extra 2nd if I can. We could then target OT, LB, and WR /TE with our first 3 picks in whatever order.
  15. There is a video on Mastrole's site that follows EJ Manuel from the Senior bowl to the draft which was kind of interesting. http://mastrolepassing.net/?page_id=4518
  16. I doubt Bills go WR early in the draft now and will focus their attention on OL, LB, maybe even TE depending how situation with Chandler turns out.
  17. I think it is a new rule the league is implementing after having a hard time filling spot this past year. If the Bills were forced to do it I wouldn't mind. At least they can be entertaining off the field versus the horror show I have been subjected to watching for the past 14 years.
  18. Look I don't have a problem with this firing because there were obvious problems that need to be fixed. I posted the following in another thread. Now I don't know what sources Pat Moran has inside the Bills Org but it is not far fetched and reason why I was disappointed with the way Marrone has handled things. Hilliard wasn't one of Marrone's "guys" and Crossman was. The reasons made for Crossman was that there wasn't enough special team guys. If you go by that reasoning seems Hilliard and Driesbach got the short end of the stick. Hilliard was working with only 1 proven receiver. Driesbach had a below average LB core with a rookie who exceeded everyone's expectations. In the end it doesn't matter it is on Marrone to get things fixed or he will be the one getting his pink slip. http://www.buffalosportsdaily.com/friday-bills-thoughts-notes/
  19. However look what Hilliard had to work with and the reasoning should be the same. Hilliard was the scapegoat and ended up getting fired while Crossman got to keep his job doesn't seem fair to me. http://www.buffalosportsdaily.com/friday-bills-thoughts-notes/
  20. Guy comes across as a total boob but hey maybe that is just me. http://www.buffalobills.com/video/videos/Danny-Crossman-talks-special-teams/f3d5d768-aadf-40e1-a115-719a17fee3a7
  21. Can't wait for the magical 7-9 season where we finally get back into the playoffs.
  22. I think the point most people are making. Crossman hasn't done anything to prove that he is a good coach. There is a pattern of bad special team units run by this guy. He should be accountable just like the players since he had a hand in picking them.
  23. Heard Jeremy White on WGR mention that Crossman has been retained. Bad move on Marrone's part the whole accountability spiel is a joke.
  24. Bills finally have a shot at making the playoffs now lol.
  25. I believe Slauson re-upped with Chicago so he is out.
