  1. It's that time of year again can't wait for the season to get started. http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tv/nfl-yearbook/EP00032310
  2. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/201...t-46-weeks.html Jackson is out 4-6 weeks with a broken bone in his left hand. Lynch is out 3-4 weeks with a sprained ankle. Joique Bell and Chad Simpson just saw their chances of making the team go up considerably.
  3. Agree Maybin is running out there off balance and gets easily pushed aside due to poor leverage and overall technique. However, to place all the blame on this guy and make him the scapegoat doesn't hide the fact that the defense overall was brutal last night. Lack of pressure really hurt the secondary no one was making any plays that really stood out except maybe Kyle Williams. Man these LBs are slower than dirt and are unable to cover at all. I don't think Poz is going to make that big of a difference out there. I figured the Offense would take their lumps this year but I was hoping for some sort of improvement with Gailey running things. I thought the defense would be better this year but you can't overlook the fact they are switching schemes and alot of people are learning new positions as well. #45 Moats looked terrible in coverage like he had cement in his cleats and there are going to definitely be growing pains on both sides of the ball. I think we will end up 4-12 or 5-11 this season. Hopefully, we get our franchise tackle and QB next year because this is going to be a long painful ride this season.
  4. I think Brohm not starting at the top is the right decision. It's up to Brohm to go out and prove it on the field that he deserves to be the #1 guy and not be handed anything. Beat the 2 guys in front of you and show your teammates that the job should be yours. I believe Gailey when he says he is going to go with the best player and is not tied to any one player.
  5. Made my call to Directv told them I wanted to cancel the NFL Sunday ticket due to the price increase. They knocked off $20 per month to bring it down to $180 without any hassle. Also, I was able to get the $10 HD monthly fee waived for the year as well.

  7. I didn't do too badly in Madden 10 with the Bills. Currently Lvl 9 with 206-174 record. I only play with the Bills online which is a disadvantage. Fitzy can put one on the numbers in one play and then be off by 15 yds on the next. I still don't see how we are the 2nd worst team in the game.
  8. You no longer have to pay extra to get the games in HD. You had to pay $100 extra to get Super Fan which is no longer required and HD is included in the price. I guess they realized they were giving it up for free due to customer complaints. I will probably still do my yearly call and see if they can sweeten the deal an little. Here is an link confirming the new price $314.93. http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/content/sports/nfl
  9. Maybin's only contribution was the following from Day 3 Highlights where he had trouble going through a rookie RB who weighs less than 200 lbs. All joking aside we are not going to know how much progress he has made until training camp and they start practicing in full pads. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...cd-c80c8cb1e48e "The Bills top pick also had a good blitz pickup on Aaron Maybin allowing Brohm to get the ball off to Naaman Roosevelt"
  10. May not mean anything but Jared Gaither is not on the field for Day 2 of Raven's camp. http://twitter.com/RavensInsider/status/13612115092
  11. QB Levi Brown in the 6th is my guess at someone the Bills may target later in the draft. Next year's QB class is going to be better and if Brown is a bust no one is going to care about a 6th rounder not making the team. I think in the 2nd the Bills must target OT or NT.
  12. Big thanks to the Broncos for saving us from making a dumb move and trying to trade up for Tebow
  13. I think the Dolphins are locks to take him now either in the 1st or 2nd.
  14. I could definitely see the Raiders pulling the trigger on Iupati.
  15. No to McCoy like other people mentioned more of a West coast QB and I think he will struggle throwing the ball once the weather starts turning bad in Buffalo.
  16. If the Bills are willing to trade back for Tebow and select him in the 1st. Then they better be willing to trade down from #9 to pick up a extra 2nd round pick. Makes no sense to be reaching for a guy no matter how much they like him.
  17. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/marvez-...training-041610 Too many softies on this team. Someone needs to toughen them up who better than Randy Couture. Seems like a good team bonding exercise while helping guys out with conditioning and new techniques.
  18. I think a better comparision would be who would you rather have Marshall or Lee Evans who is earning roughly the same amount of money per year. I think hands down you would go with Brandon Marshall. In the later rounds I hope the Bills are looking at a WR who fits that mold like a Andre Johnson/Brandon Marshall type which would be the perfect complement to the speed of Evans on the outside.
  19. If it turns out to be Lynch to the Lions it better not be straight up for Julian Peterson. Peterson and a swap of 2nd round picks then we got a deal. We move to the top of the 2nd round where we would hold the cards in terms of getting the player we want or making another trade with another team.
  20. Not that it means much but Anthony Davis met with the Bills already. Scouts thought he did pretty well and probably solidified his position as a mid 1st round pick. http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2010/03/f...an_anthony.html
  21. There are alot of questions regarding McCoy. More of a West Coast QB, questionable arm strength, injury concerns due to size, and is only 6'1. That should be enough to scare anyone off in my opinion and doesn't seem like a fit for Buffalo.
  22. This is 1 pick I can get behind in the 4th-5th. Athletic, strong arm, can make plays with his feet. Will need some time to get acclimated to the pro system and there are some accuracy issues that need to be worked out. However, most of the QBs after the top 3 Bradford, Clausen, and McCoy are project QBs and should be drafted in the middle rounds. I can't believe Buddy will draft Tebow in the first 2 rounds and the only way we draft him is if he does slide.
  23. I would be doing everything in my power to trade Schobel if he decides to return and Kelsay they are bad fits for this defense. Slow footed guys who are not equipped to play the OLB position.
  24. Why was Josh Reed catching passes at Bradford's pro day. Is it a agent thing where he and bradford share the same one? I could see if Reed was a former Sooner and was helping out but he went to LSU.
